Sadly, this is how I spend my time. But I just can't figure out what exactly it is. So give.

Aucuba japonica??
Prunus caroliniana??
Prunus laurocerasus??
Codiaeum variegatum??
Arbutus menziesii??
Laurus nobilis??
Cinnamomum camphora??

MP ;)

I just sort of assumed it was a laurel tree...the kind you get bay leaves from.

There's a thread around here somewhere where she says what it is. It's a type of eastern (and by eastern I mean not California bay) laurel.

Kalmia latifolia, Eastern Mountain Laurel: Very poisionous

Umbellularia californica is California laurel

I don't know which the pic is of....as EML has huge flower clusters and more eliptical leaves than in the photo....

I am going with Laurus nobilis by the pic...

MP, Very cool and, not sad at all......Are you a Botinist, Horticulturist, Landscape Designer, or Other?

It's Texas Mountain Laurel.

YEEEHHHAAWWW!!

Brings out the redneck in me. Now if I could only get him to go home...

Texas Mountain Laurel is drought resistent you know... just like Literotica's Laurel!

Yessirree! Though I'm also flame-retardant, unlike the greener version. Go ahead, flame me and find out.
