Why does it seem that just about every primetime network TV drama these days is about a violent female lead character who beats up men, shoots people, and kicks people's heads in? Sure, they make them up to look like women, but they act like men.

There don't seem to be any manly male lead stars on primetime shows anymore. Where are the Magnum PI's or the Knight Riders or even the A-Teams? Its all girlies acting like dudes (even if they are dressed up like chicks).

This isn't a conspiracy? There's no ulterior motive going on here to brainwash people? If this is really what the market wants, why are ratings for primetime TV at record lows? Why are audiences lower than they were 30 years ago for primetime shows when the population is much larger?

The public doesn't want every show to be a violent masculine woman kicking dude's heads in and shooting people. The numbers prove this, but Hollywood doesn't listen. Who's orders are they following and why???
