I missed going out on New Year's Eve this year (first time ever... bummer!), I was at home sick. But now I've got a countdown, of sorts to look forward to: 7 more posts till I'm a guru! And I've been here since time began, so I'm kind of excited by the prospect. For all you gurus out there, has your life changed in any appreciable way? More sex? Hotter sex? Come on, I want the dirt on the perks of being a Lit guru!

My life was changed by just approaching Lit in the first place!

Having now reached over 1,000 posts I can honestly say that each Lit milestone was exciting, but became less important as I became more involved with the Lit community on the whole. I always felt welcomed on the boards and in chat, but feel much more comfortable voicing opinions now that I have "matured".

I found the love of my life here, and I have renewed my interest in writing again (an art that I thought was long gone from my abilities).
