All you sauce-loving GB bbq makers know exactly what you champion...

I'll be cranking out about 9 racks of smoked BBQ ribs and 2 beef briskets for those who don't eat pork next week to take to our annual family reunion. This to go along with the 38 bottles (3 varieties) of mead I've made for the event.

My smoked BBQ ribs are to die for.

That's awesome. Will you do pulled pork as well? I think I'd die happy just eating BBQ pulled pork sandwiches and nothing else.

I think the only thing that beats racks of BBQ ribs on the table during summertime feasts are vats of steamed crabs, Maryland style. Shit, my fam used to do both, had the best of both worlds!

dunno why I'm torturing myself with this thread, but damn, I could tear into either of the above right now! :D

It's all about insanely good scallops and champagne, and you know it really.

Evenin' all.

I'm about to make right on my craving for bulgogi with all of the fixings and some Sophia Minis.

He does all the barbecue stuff...

But as far as pulled pork goes, one of my favorite things is carnitas, so I usually make that instead of pulled pork.

Maryland was always great for crabs, those back in the woods places that just had picnic tables with butcher paper, mallets, ponchos and squeeze bottles of butter.

That works, too. :D

That picture takes me back, to when you could actually pull them out of the water like that anywhere on the Chesapeake.

I spent a significant dollop of my boyhood summers with family in Baltimore and around Maryland back in the day...and those crab feasts are the one thing I especially miss. House smellin' like Old Bay from head to toe. I'd lose track of how many I tried to eat.

Between this and the braless Anna Sui t-shirt wearing, you're breaking my heart! :D

I've been on a big time bibim guksu binge now because of August. While not technically BBQ, it is spicy with that tangy red chili sauce and I like adding in meats to my bowl along with it.

Pulled Pork sandwiches are my favorite thing to eat ever. Add some amazing fries and cole slaw and you have found the way to my heart.

I had BBC pulled pork nachos earlier.Lovely.

These typos are gold Fata. Gold. :D

Carnitas rules. But I don't think I've ever had that outside of it being in tacos.

The mallets were so much fun to use. Of course, as a kid, you don't know how to whack with precision, so bits and pieces of crab shell went flying everywhere in the backyards and city parks, to be broken down by nature over time.

Aw shucks......:rose:

I had a neighbor growing up that used to make her own kimchi. I've never found anything even close to it.

I'm off to Costco to buy some meat to put in the egg in the morning.
