Its made from oats, fat and animal blood? Its about 2cm thick and small round shapes. As you look at it its black with big globs of white fat shining through it.
It sounds awful but tastes ok, I don't eat it because of what its made of, not how it tastes.
Have you ever tried Haggis??
Its wonderful, amazing and filling.

Am pretty sure black pudding and blood pudding are the same thing, like bronn said. I did not like haggis a lot either, but it was better than the blood pudding! But I do not want to turn ADR's lovely thread into British things we do not like. So here are some more things I do like....
Playing cricket, Thornton's Chocolate, malteaser's and my Love's voice leaving pervy (and generally unrepeatable) yet mushy messages on my voice mail!
But you're right, it's the same thing as black pudding. I made it once for a diversity day breakfast and she took about two bites and decided she didn't like it. We always called it Blood Pudding at home (County Mayo) but in Dublin I heard it called Black Pudding too.
