It's not supposed to cure you once you've already got something. It's supposed to help boost your immune system so you don't GET sick.

And as far as I can tell, it works. I've been using it for a few weeks now and have been exposed to the flu, strep throat, colds, and other random assorted crap and haven't gotten sick yet.

It definitely helped my energy levels out while I was feeling sick and I believe it helped me get better faster.

It helped my youngest. She had a nasty cold over the holidays that just would not go away. Our pharmacist recommended Airborn Jr. and the littlest Lily was back in school the next day.

And yes, it is vile. The pharmacist said you don't have to use more than a few ounces of water, so I mixed it with about a half cup of water. Didn't make it taste better but it was gone quicker.

I am in close contact with people constantly and I take it at the slightest hint of anything and it seems to help prevent further progression. If I wait untill i have a full blown cold - too late.

Those things are works very well on my two years old( break down 1/4 pieces), my wife and myself. We don't have any problem with them. My wife just brought four more yesterday. I take them every four hours and drink fluid like orange juice or water all day.
Just depend works or not for you....
