I do think that you should be well educated before doing anything sexual...but ya. You can get aids from swallowing cum. Im pretty sure you could get it if you had a cut on your hand and semen got on it. Gotta be careful and know who your parteners are. If the guy is a heavy pre cummer, you could probably contract it even if you dont swallow. Pre cum would also contain Hiv, and could possible infect you.

If the HIV tests takes a swab from the mouth and if the person has been infected for awhile (it takes a long time for the body to react and then produce those antibodies - sometimes months and months AFTER initial infection) then the mouth is full of those antibodies. The AIDS/HIV virus is a thousand times smaller than the antibodies so you tell me whether there are viable populations of the actual virus in the mouth/gums/tongue/throat/nose. Spilt lips, loose teeth, infections - ANYTHING that may affect the permiability of the skin in those areas will increase the liklihood that there will be introduction of the virus into the bloodstream. Soon after that you are a) infectious yourself and b) dying. It might take a while but the virus is terminal and there is no cure and it doesn't look like there's gonna be one for many years to come. So don't be an idiot. Be careful. It's not JUST your life but everybody you have sex with you may be killing too.

If you have any open "wounds" in your mouth, gingivitis or cavities , than the answer is yes you are giving an open way for the disease to be spread.
If you have gastritis, stomach ulcers or any other esophogeal problems such as acid reflux you are again giving a clear passage.
Why?, because these areas are open to fresh blood supply they are internal 'wounds' so to speak.
