I'm trying to use AI for checking my conversation tone and punctuation etc but I keep getting it rejected due to the erotic nature of the story. Does anyone have a program or software that they use for this?

If you use AI to help you write or edit your story, it's likely to be rejected by Lit.

Better to just do the best you can by yourself.

Don't use AI writing tools for fiction would be my advice, unless you want formulaic rubbish. Also, don't think of submitting it here, as it's contra to Lit's rules, and likely to be detected and rejected.

Learn grammar and style by writing in your own voice, and doing basic homework. Using tools to avoid learning the rules - you're the one not learning.

My understanding is that the OP uses AI for analytical purposes, not for generative. If the AI reports that a dialogue has a certain tone and the author changes it with their own words, I would not consider it "written by AI". But if you ask the AI to change the tone for you, that's bad.

I do try myself, it actually looks OK to me and they are very ambiguous

Thank you, that is correct, I wanted to check.my conversation as I had a story rejected and it mentioned conversation, I couldn't see what the issue was.

My point is, you're using a tool that's capable for business writing, if all you want is bland homogeneity, but terrible for fiction.

I wouldn't begin using AI to "assist" creative writing, but put your time and effort into learning the basics of grammar and punctuation, and developing your own style, will serve you better in the long run. The best way to do that is write without using software tools. If you do that like the rest of us did, the hard way, by reading, writing, learning from texts, it will sink in. Using "assistance", you won't learn it for yourself. Your choice, obviously, but there are no short cuts, not really.

Yeah, I'm probably not explaining myself very well. I think the conversation is fine and correct as written but literotica disagree. That's why I wanted a third party check and thought AI might be able to assist.

It sounds like you're getting auto-rejected because your dialogue punctuation isn't correct? Lit seems to have automated filters that specifically look for unclosed quotation marks, periods and commas on the wrong side of quotation marks, etc.

@FrancesScott's How to Punctuate Dialog is a good starting point, if you still feel stuck you could post a couple of paragraphs of your dialog in the Editors Forum and I'll bet someone could tell you what the problem is!

Thank you, that's very helpful, I'll check it out.

I'd suggest a read aloud device like Immersive Reader in Word. You can hear the tone better than an AI can infer it.
