AI Chat? Finally Trying It and...

I've had some good experiences with CrushOn as well. It's slower (once you run out of the free credits), but it a different experience than spicychat - sometimes worth the wait :)

different how?
Each AI site (and I guess each AI model) has a different way of structuring replies. They also vary in what input they will allow and what they will generate. For instance, I found that CrushOn would go much further along a NC storyline than Spicychat

Sometimes I entertain myself with an AI bot locally on my PC, using the Backyard AI app, where you can use various trained NSFW AI models, plus you can customize the lore and character according to your imagination. But it's not necessarily NSFW, as there are models for different tasks.

chiming in here, I use tipsy chat and I’ve found it’s a good mix of being able to go for nsfw sexy time stories, or go down a non sexual roleplay adventure.

I’m also using it as a bit of a training ground to get myself back into writing and have to say it’s a lot of fun. I have a full on fantasy world roleplay thing going where I’m on a quest to find out my origin story - based in the He Man universe (because I started out making an AI bot of Evil Lyn - don’t judge) that went from sexy times flirting to adventure mode instead.

I had a look at Backyard AI and it seems like it's now just another web service? And with plenty of restrictions for the free version.
Do you know if it's still possible to get the desktop version?

i haven't quite figured out huggingface yet, lol
People post various things there that are useful for AI. For example, models for local use. A model is a trained (using images or text) database from which AI will extract information to communicate with you or create images. To put it simply.
Different models are needed for different tasks, and you can find the one you need based on your tasks, preferences, and computer power.

So, Backyard AI can use different models. You can look for the one that suits you on huggingface, download it, and connect it in the app.

Just tried it out myself. When I started Backyard AI the second time, it automatically suggested two models to download from huggingface. I did, and one of them was again automatically set as the default model. It was seamless and works :)

Yes, it's not completely empty at the start ) It's just that sometimes you need something specific, and then you have to search for it and download it yourself.
