3 I had never PM'ed before, just their posts and other things made them attractive. Each of them were flattered and thanked me for the compliment. Those were the harder ones to do, telling a virtual stranger that they have qualities that make them shag-tastic. It will be interesting to see how friendships grow from this.

6 I had chatted with, flirted with but actually saying out right was a bit daunting but again they were flattered, and responded graciously and kindly.

Is it worth the courage to tell some one, in a PM, that they are "on your list"? yeah I think so. You might find you are on a list you didn't know about, and even if you are not, you never know when it may make someone's day that much brighter.

Now I may expand this and PM other Litsters who may not be AHer's and see how that goes.

I had a good mate in college. His name was Ron. He was about 260 pounds, built like a panda, and gay, and this was in a religiously conservative part of the south where, as he pointed out, asking someone out for a date meant risking not only rejection but a serious ass-kicking.

He never lacked a date on a Saturday night. His philosophy was simple: everyone (especially in college) is lonely, everyone is horny, and everyone likes to hear that he's attractive. Weed out the obviously dangerous, keep your approach subtle and undemanding, and try as often as you like. I would add, too, that he was a very kind friend and good company to pretty much everyone, so he met quite a lot of people. He had time for those he wasn't actively attempting to shag, and I think that that also made him an appealing person.

Seemed to work for him, and it looks like it works for Salvor. People do like to feel good about themselves.
