It's all about attitude and being open to the experience. I suppose it's no different than any relationship. If you connect, all the pre-conceived ideas you have of what "should" be melt away.

I totally agree I am 35 and began discovering my dominant side mid 20's. In saying that I am not the type to dominate your whole life just sexually. Unless things aren't being done right then I take control.

It seems you're getting a pretty mixed bag of answers but from my experience going to munchs, parties and the like I would say that it's rare to find Doms that are younger than 25. It mostly depends on sexual maturity. Younger guys tend to be happy just to be having sex (that is a hyperbolic overgeneralization). It usually takes guys a bit longer to start asking questions about what they want out of sex. Honestly, no matter what the age there are way too many guys that think they want to be Doms because they simply love to spank women. They have watched Kink porn and want to give the toys a try. It's a gauntlet no matter the age group though. I would agree with your assessment as a generality

I started realizing when my woman at the time started play wrestling with me then started screaming and moaning no.
