At a “Justice for Trayvon” rally in Portland, Oregon Saturday evening, several speakers reacted to the acquittal of George Zimmerman by calling for violence, including the specific targeting of police.
According to video of the event provided by the “Laughing at Liberals” channel on YouTube, one demonstrator declared: “In my mind, every f***ing cop is a f***ing target.”

Former Obama Czar Van Jones On Zimmerman Verdict: “Racism Won”…
One has to wonder if he even watched the trial. It was clear as day Zimmerman was innocent.

Former Obama adviser Van Jones declared that “racism won” in the trial of George Zimmerman.
“The verdict: racism won. #TrayvonMartin” Jones tweeted in the aftermath of the “not guilty” verdict in the George Zimmerman murder trial.
Jones was appointed to Obama’s cabinet in March 2009 as special advisor for green jobs, a newly created position. He is known as the co-founder of the nonprofit progressive advocacy groups Color of Change, which focuses on civil rights, and Green for All, which focuses on the environment.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) on Sunday urged the Justice Department to review federal charges against George Zimmerman who was acquitted in Sanford, Fla., of murder and manslaughter in the shooting death of teenager Trayvon Martin.
“I think the Justice Department is going to take a look at this. This isn’t over with and I think that’s good. That’s our system, it’s gotten better, not worse,” Reid said on NBC’s “Meet the Press”.
A jury of six-women found that Zimmerman acted in self-defense when he shot 17-year-old Martin in February of 2012. Hundreds of people gathered outside the courthouse to protest the verdict Saturday night.
Federal prosecutors could still charge Zimmerman with violating Trayvon Martin’s civil rights.
Reid said he accepted the not-guilty verdict on murder and manslaughter charges.
“I am a trial lawyer and have [brought] over 100 cases to a juries. I don’t always agree with what the jury does that that’s the system and I support the system,” Reid said.

No, it’s not a tough call, it’s total BS if they do bring charges.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) said Sunday that the Justice Department had a tough choice in deciding whether to bring federal civil rights charges against George Zimmerman.
A former prosecutor, Klobuchar said that the department would need to wait until their investigation collected all the evidence they could. Zimmerman was found not guilty on Saturday night in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.
“I know that investigation’s going on. As a former prosecutor, I know you wait until you see all the evidence,” Klobuchar said on ABC’s “This Week.”
“They’re going to have to make that decision. It’ll be a tough one.”
The Justice Department is already under some pressure from civil rights groups to bring a federal case against Zimmerman.
