After a long absence, this aged individual has posted part one of a story which has, in my feeble mind, the possibility of developing into a lengthy saga.
I would appreciate it if any and all would take a quick look and let me know -- here, or via e-mail -- if the story feels right.
The submission just took place a few minutes ago, so it will not be posted for a few days I would imagine.
The title: The Velvet Noose, Ch. 1.
