Do you find that hangout trolls will go back and 1* your stories after you post here or they just do it to me?

In LW they just go right to the end and 1* bomb.I have no fear of posting here or anyplace else.
I don't consider myself bullet-proof, but it seems like the longer the stories are, the less likely it is for someone to go to the trouble of attacking them. The same for people stealing my stories. I make them work for it.
Again, it hasn't been my experience. In LW they just go right to the end and 1* bomb.

I have a gut feel that that's happened before, but I have no proof. And then at some point decided to just post and move forward.Do you find that hangout trolls will go back and 1* your stories after you post here or they just do it to me?
They do,but these happen as a group of bombers right after I post here. You’re right. I track success by #of followers. The 1* bombing is more interesting than bothersome. I was just wondering if it’s just me who’s the target. How do you know this has anything to do with posting here in the Hangout? My impression is that Loving Wives stories of the type you write often get 1-bombed, but what does that have to do with posting here? How can you tell that it's connected?
I don't worry at all about this. I might get some 1-bombs, but it has no impact on my "success" at this site, as I interpret success. I don't see how it affects your success, either, considering you're the 9th most followed author, and your position seems secure.

I try not to be. I do that on my profileYou are definitely not the only one. Plenty of others have noticed this happening. I'm surprised that you would encounter it because, while your LW stories may be objectionable to a certain class of LW readers, your posts here aren't provocative or antagonistic.
When I (foolishly, perhaps) posted about one of my stories hitting number 1 in the all time top list, it immediately got down voted. Several posters here suggested that was because I'd posted about it here...Do you find that hangout trolls will go back and 1* your stories after you post here or they just do it to me?
The Evil Eye of EnvyWhen I (foolishly, perhaps) posted about one of my stories hitting number 1 in the all time top list, it immediately got down voted. Several posters here suggested that was because I'd posted about it here...
(Later, when another went to number 1, I didn't say anything here straight away and it stayed there much longer.)
I don't think it proves anything though.
I had one here, years ago, that did that after making some false assumptions about me. They are no longer here, and I got past it.Do you find that hangout trolls will go back and 1* your stories after you post here or they just do it to me?
Agreed. I usually just take a screenshot, smile, and keep my mouth shut. Eventually the #1 spot fades, but it does seem to last longer when you don't mention it.When I (foolishly, perhaps) posted about one of my stories hitting number 1 in the all time top list, it immediately got down voted. You mean we could all be confident, not so egotistic, self-obsessed writers who are just happy with their work and not looking for outside validation? How novel of a concept. As we've already established, couldn't be meThere's a really easy way to avoid 1-bombs wrecking your mood.
Of course you can just not care, but that's hard for a lot of folks.
Much easier: write and publish stuff that you expect will do poorly.
I had the same situation. Any hall of fame story. When I (foolishly, perhaps) posted about one of my stories hitting number 1 in the all time top list, it immediately got down voted. Several posters here suggested that was because I'd posted about it here...
