Hi all,

I felt like I needed a place to share random stuff from time to time. I have a ton of interests, from music to comics to food to working out, and of course, sex!

A quick story - I lost 30lbs this year because I hated myself for being fat and unhealthy. I'm Asian, so all my friends are skinny as fuck without doing anything, which is quite annoying. Regardless, even though I'm not a tall guy I weighed about 230lbs, which is way too much for my height. Losing weight and getting fit was a way of reinventing myself, and rebuilding self confidence, not just in my appearance, but mentally, as I was in a bad place and needed something to focus on.

I will never judge anyone, beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. All I can say is, I feel much better physically and mentally from being healthy and fit. That's just my personal choice.

Anyway, random slogans for today:

So I love music. My favourites are r&b, hip hop and soul, although I like pretty much anything as long as it has a decent melody.

The album I'm most looking forward to is the new release from Janelle Monae. It comes out in about two weeks - I loved her first album and I'm looking forward to what she can do. There's a duet with Miguel which has been released on youtube which I absolutely love. I've seen Miguel live before and he has an amazing voice.

And congratulations on the weight loss too, I know how difficult it can be at times - I wish you much success with it, and with your rehabilitation as well :rose:

Talking of crushes, another one of mine is the Japanese porn actress Aino Kishi. I just think she's beautiful

Hello! Thanks for your kind words. Do you excercise too? :)

Saw something interesting today

40 days of dating: Would you date an old friend?

Trying to find a significant other while living in a fast-paced city is a notoriously difficult process, especially as you try to balance all the other things you're expected to do as a young adult (find enough money to survive, carve out a career, etc). It's a struggle to get into the habit of dating, and even tougher to turn those dates into meaningful relationships.

We've read about many ways to deal with this problem, and have friends and family who fit into every category: singles in their mid- to late-30s, people in Skype-sustained long-distance relationships, serial internet dating players.

But on 20 March this year two New York-based designers, Jessica Walsh and Timothy Goodman, tried something new.

The pair had been friends for years and, on discovering they were single at the same time, decided to date each other for 40 days purely as an experiment.

There was a set of strict rules: they would see each other every day, visit a relationship counsellor once a week, and they would be totally exclusive. Every evening they would separately complete a questionnaire to document their feelings.

The link to the original blog is here

I have a couple of female friends who I have close friendships with - reading the blog I think it throws up a lot of issues that most people would have dating their close friends.

I wonder what others out there think? Would you take the plunge and date a close friend?

One of my great loves which I haven't mentioned yet is dance. I used to learn various hip hop styles when I was younger, although I never really had the time to pursue it as I got sidetrack by various other hobbies. Here's a video of some really nice choreography

The same couple also have one of my favourite choreographed routines to Michael Jackson's "Dangerous". I must have watched it over 10 times
