Your response has confused me even more.
1. Why would her family make a big deal out of you being affectionate? They should be happy for her. Unless you're being raunchy on FB, but you said affectionate, not raunchy.
2. Who is hacking into her email acct? And why? Is she involved with someone else? If so, move on! You don't need that drama. If she is with someone else at the moment and messing around with you, well you know the old saying: if they'll cheat with you, they'll cheat on you.
3. She should really change her password!

I am wondering what subtle ways I can flirt and be affectionate towards a mate of mine without others knowing? Have to be careful in case someone reads her fb or other emails to me. Thanks in advance and have a good evening.

I've found in the past, that if you carry a small pocket torch or, if a torch is hard to come by, some different coloured flags, or if you can't get those, as a last resort a box of matches and some damp leaves you can signal pretty secretly by:

a) morse code
b) Semaphore
c) Smoke rings

I've had some success using these methods and most of the time others haven't caught on. Though, be warned, one time I tried the smoke ring method and the fire brigade came out which did give things away with the flashing blue lights and sirens.

go somewhere private where people can't see your conversations. I leave code words on FB sometimes, that point to private email accounts but in general I try not to be exclusive in the public place, get a room

Yes I have. No I have not heard of that documentry. When she and I met on another webiste two years ago we joked about it as part of an online play we put on for an audience. Then to piss off an ex friend we got "engaged" and it went from there. It was fun. If her ex friend gets ahold of more info it could be used for not so nice purposes.
