Dear Ann Landers:
My husband and I eloped. Two weeks later, we had a lovely, catered dinner for family and close friends to celebrate our union. I discovered yesterday that during the dinner, a family member walked around the room and asked everyone to sign a petition supporting one of her pet political causes. She was discreet about it, but I am still quite upset that she did this at my wedding party. I felt it was in poor taste and disrespectful to my husband and me.
Should I say something to her, even though it's too late to do anything about it now? I want to be diplomatic, but I also don't want her to get away with such rude behavior. Please let me know what I should do. -- Still Miffed in Los Angeles
Dear Miffed:
The family member's behavior was in the worst possible taste. Someone should have nailed her on the spot. It's too late to revisit the situation, so let the sleeping dog lie. Learn from this incident, and when you see something that isn't quite right -- speak up.
So do you think Ann was encouraging group sex since she indicated someone should of nailed her or was she telling the woman that the dog should of nailed her, Don't know,........I think I'm developing Sparkys mind.
Also, I think there was a typo and should of been MUFFED not Miffed.
