add image to a pm

Anybody tell me how to add images to a message? The add image icon just gives a http symbol and no way to add an image from my own PC.

Which means you can only provide a link.

Lit makes very sure it never hosts an image, unless it's been vetted and submitted as artwork, in an illustrated story, or in an allowed Forum. I guess the same applies to the messaging system. The site doesn't want to carry any unwanted material.

Yep, you can only provide a link. Most people use Dropbox or Imgur to upload their photos and then share the generated link.

Thanks. I thought that maybe the case. Dick pic thing noted as always. Here is my solution to anyone affected by this:

Convert the image to a NFT then offer to sell it back to them. Only the owner can remove it from the Blockchain so if they don't buy it, it's on there forever.

If you have a link to, say, a site like Tumblr, you can use the insert link feature to send the actual image instead of the link itself.
