I just met a new friend and her ability to follow my nonsequiters made me instantly think of my late in life (35) ADHD diagnosis.
One of the reasons that I never self-diagnosed this and it went un-noticed in my medical background family is that ALL of my friends shared similar thought/behavioral/speech patterns. It was "normal" for me. Still is.
Upon reflection I decided that my friends and I were a self selecting population.
So I wonder...since I feel a similar affinity to many of you here...both those I've "met" whilst being this particular identity as well as those that have just tickled me cerebral-y without me expressing that appreciation.
So how about it, how many of you were diagnosed as kids? How many as Adults? How many are probably in denial but mysteriously have a houseful of kids on ritalin (or you choose not to medicate but see the indications)
As you can tell I've been off work and delightfully un-medicated for some time and the ADHD is full blown... (Hehe I said blown....)
