Thoughts?

Strong supporter myself, except for their recent decision to fight for preservation of Title IX.

Gladly pay my dues.

They were a big help in the my daughter's school to take her needs seriously.

I sent some cash their way tonight for the first time.

Their constant battle for privacy rights has yilded significant discussion and provides a valuable check to some questionable lawmaking.

I fully support their work to publicize the craziness of the death penalty system.

There is soemthign to be said for that group who constantly asks questions, keeping everyone on their toes. Some of their best work is done on a very small scale.

Anyway, reading their site tongiht I decided to chip in and was curious as tot eh perceptiosn of others.

Without knowing their stances on everything, I would probably estimate I run about 65/35 against them.

On a great many issues, I think they have the right idea, but blow it way out of proportion in practice.

I tend to think they are spot on >85% of the time.

I am personally pretty excited to see their work against the RAVE act and related government antics.

Personally, I'm all for Anterior Cruciate Ligament Unity. They can work together to keep us all standing proud.

Polls bore the shit out of me. MM still around, I hear things are ok?
I'm pleased for you even though you are an annoying small minded moronic shit. I hope it keeps going.

60%con 40%pro...

I used to really like the ACLU until they got into the divisionary politics separating rights of all citizens, to rights of certain citizens. It's most notable in their socialist political positions with complete disregard for the safety of the country, and citizens from organized terrorist groups.

I feel the same way. They used to be helpful to everyone, but they don't seem to be that way anymore.

Yes, I support the ACLU.

Ahh, the worlds weakest tough guy returns. Call him on a mistake and he turns into a babbling school girl who holds a grudge for... what are we at now, a year?

As a rule I tend to disagree with several of their stances. While in theory providing a good service it would seem to me at least they habitually dive off the deep end.

Their NAMBLA decision pretty much sealed their fate in my eyes.

I like much of the work the ACLU does, but I couldn't support them except on a case by case basis. Their obvious intellectual dishonesty when it comes to the Second Amendment, and their obvious hatred of anything religious prevents that. I can agree with the separation of church and state, etc. - but sometimes they get carried away. Also, it is obvious they just don't get it when it comes to social programs.

So, while I support much of their efforts with regards to basic civil rights, they have an obvious liberal (read socialist) bent when it comes to many issues that prevents me from giving them my full support.

The ACLU should look into your boobies being uneven.

Well, today I finally got around to becoming part of the Texas ACLU. There is a lot of work to do down here.

The ACLU is nothing but a bunch of atheists who want to outlaw religion. Because they do NOT believe in god, and they want people to know. So they are trying to COMPLETELY abolish religion so that nobody believes in god. They are Fascists
