In answer to your question, I'm not sure there is a way to delete one. I know of one person who left permanently and she just emptied her profile and deleted her contact info, as well as changing her control panel so that she doesn't recieve emails and pm notifications.

Not that I want to see you leave here - I hope you don't! - but I do have a solution to this that might be useful at other times.
1. Change your password to something you can't know - just bang on the keys.
2. If you have to "confirm" the password, copy and paste from the first time.
3. Change your e-mail address to something that doesn't belong to you - asdf@asdf.com has been permanently reserved as a fake address. (Doing this keeps you from being able to e-mail yourself your password.)

But really, please don't leave - I feel like I've only just met you!
