about the challenges subforum

I miss the writing/challenge threads being on the main page. I set my screen at the bottom edge of the stickeys so forget all about the challenge/exercises subforum.

That forum was my idea.

I forget it's there, too. I'm thinking it would be more fun to put a bingo addition on a thread if it where were everyone could read it.

Waddaya think, guys? Is it a failed experiment? Should we request those posts be let loose in the Big Kid's room?

I thought it would work too, but I just don't pay attention to them way up there - but maybe that's just me. Can the bingo game be in one thread? I don't think the challenges and exercises have enough activity to overwhelm the play and political threads so sure, let them come out and play.

I would like to offer support for both the challenges and bingo but whether they belong in the big room im not sure.

I think leaving bingo posts in each seperate author's thread wouldn't be all that disruptive-- considering that most of us post one a year, or something...

I never go there. Or kind of go in once in a while.

I'd say the first grabbing the interest post should be in the AH and if you get enough interested parties and want to assign each a thread or something, then move to the subforum. That way people who have their thread will hopefully remember it and the main forum won't be flooded.

i like the subforum and vote for it staying. i enjoy writing exercises, creating and doing them. i love reading what others write for the challenges. and, they are far easier to find than having to search through here.

people know the subforum is there. it is being used. sure it's not fast paced, but that's okay because it's about challenges and exercises. a learning place.
