? about periods

I know I have seen a lot of posts about having sex during your period. I am wondering if any of you other girls out there masterbate during your period. I am not in a relationship at the time and I am soooo horney during my period. Not the first day or two but after that. Using dildo/vib, etc would sure feel good but I don't know about the mess. Any helpful advise

I generally stick to clitoral stimulation, and BG is right about orgasms relieving cramps and helping headaches!

I either use Instead cups, which fit over the cervix to catch the blood and can be left in during penetration (though I wash mine out beforehand), or tampons. Taking either out for masturbation or sex doesn't result in a mess.

If you're set on penetration and worried about it, put a towel beneath you, use a toy that can be washed or slip a condom over it, and go to town. Instead cups, clit stimulation and handheld showerheads are possibilities as well.

Okay.... on a serious note then.... Ever since I have my IUD I have not had a period so I don't have to worry about that anymore... But it has never kept me in the past, I must say. I don't use toys often anyway but they are washable so if I would feel the need I would use them.

When I did have periods I always used tampons. When I knew I was going to have sex I would shower and put a fresh one in. That would give us room to play plenty. If we wanted penetration I would pull the tampon out.

I am a heavy bleeder (or I was I should say) but I always found that it somehow was not as bad when I had sex, don't know why... It was not like the whole bed was soaked or so, because that would, probably, have kept me.

I see no reason why you should not enjoy the pleasures of sex while on your period. Good hygene, as ever, and you'll be fine.

I basically shower, insert a tampon and use the vibe on the clit also. I have tried those instead cups and I can't get the buggers in right. I found them too hard to use.
