Sorry but I see no other more fitting place to ask this.
Are audio submissions primarily (or exclusively) for spoken word?
 
True, I guess, but hardly the nature of the site, is it ?
I agree, which is why my first post answers the OP with a "yes" - audio primarily for the spoken word.

I did find a fairly elaborate production here years ago, with multiple voices, sound effects and, I think, music. As erotica it was a fabulous failure (a lousy script), but a pretty impressive production, as I recall.

Always loved the old radio theater stuff. Always sounded like they would be so much fun to make.
Long long ago, some friends who worked in radio put together a short episode from a work I wrote. It was so fascinating to watch them put it together: voices, sound effects, music (that soap opera organ), and then listen back to it. Much fun.
