Abortion in OZ.

The Australian Federal government announced yesterday that all Doctors and qualified Nurse practitioners will in future be licenced to prescribe the Abortion Pill. In addition all pharmacies will stock the drug. It was previously restricted but fairly easily obtained. It now appears to bring us in line with other civilized countries.

This probably belongs in Politics, as it is a divisive issue. As for civilized, over the last year American has rapidly become far less civilized

That comment encapsulates the entire point. In a civilized country it is not political at all, it is entirely a matter for the individual pregnant person. In a Free country rather than one which merely talks endlessly about Freedom, it is a fundamental right with no political divisiveness. It is substantially confined to primitive American Religionists.
