(Restarting an old thread of mine. Need one female. If interested send me a PM and we'll pick this up where it left off or start a new thread. Updated 7/12/2014)
No more than one hundred feet away he watched, day by day, the girl leave her building and get into her car. It was the same time everyday until she’d disappear for the weekend. She had become a fascination for him. Or even more dangerously, an obsession.
On the outside Mark was normal. There was nothing strange or different about him. But underneath the suit and tie he wore everyday to work Friday was different. Friday he decided to stay home all day until she’d return from work. The day would give him enough hours to get everything he needed for the abduction and the torture.
Relationships were hard. This was going to be easy for him in comparison. After the abduction all he had to do was keep quiet. He’d seen enough news that told him he’d be able to hide the girl away for as long as he needed to provided he was smart about it. It would take time but it was time he was willing to spend.
When he was through looking out the window he drew the blinds closed. Glancing toward his near vacant apartment he knew now that he was going to go through with it all. All the arrangements had been made. The cabin was ready, the car had been looked over, all he needed was to wait for night to overtake the day. Even if on the off chance she went out tonight he was prepared to wait her out. Patience had been a staple of his character since he first spotted the girl crossing the street six months ago. It was reinforced with time, padded with reassurance that she would soon be his whether she wanted it or not.
All that remained was the suit he wore, the car keys in his pocket and his briefcase containing a set of restraints. A lie about a gun or knife would be enough to keep her quiet and if not, he decided he could knock her out if he had to. She was going to suffer pain anyway, why not introduce it to her at the starting gun?
Mark walked the length of the room to shut off the lights. Slivers of sunlight slipped through the curtains as he walked into the bedroom where he lied on the old mattress. He’d sleep uncomfortably for a few hours to help pass the time, and to help keep him awake longer through the night. All that was left was to wait.
