Watch Kirobo make history as it becomes the first robot to speak in outer space on Aug. 21, 2013. Toyota Motor Corporation provided the
voice-recognition software for Kirobo, one of two humanoid robots developed under the Kibo Robot Project, a collaborative research effort.
Kibo means "hope" in Japanese.
