A World Untamed...

Robert Sith:

"You have taxed my patience to the very limit girl..." Sith hissed. His hand flew up, striking across her cheek, silencing her druid speak. "Take her..." Sith said as he remembered his promise to Rockingham. "Take her to the tower's highest bed chambers... Have the gargoyals set on guard." Sith said flatly. He turned to face Rocky as the guards dragged Gaia away. "You some how have lost your memories? I still have your journal... And your spell books... They will explain things in far better detail to you than I ever could, my son..." Sith took hold of Rocky's shoulder and started guiding him up the dungeon's stairs. "Come, I will show you..."

"No... no no no, Sara. Come back."
She just took off, this wasn't like her at all. He had only known her for a few days, but surely she had known what a stress everything was in. She couldn't just leave. He kept trying to stop her.
"Sara, please. Stop this at once, we can't go back. they will find us, and kill us."
She looked at him, pausing only slightly before walking on. Sabaka cursed the effectual animal. Fine, if it wanted to go off to die, let it be so. He had other matters to attend too.
If they caught the bear, they would know more people were here. They would search for him and find him. He looked at Sara, perhaps they had known all along. This was not normal for the bear to just run off, they might be using a spell to make their presence known.
He wasn't sure, but in any case he had to stop her.
"Sara, come on. We are going to rescue that woman. I don't care if she doesn't want to be rescued, we are going to force her out of there if we must. I need your help though, you are the only one who can find her again."
She paused for a longer time, whatever spell that was on her was very weak. He could see her fighting it inside. Yes, fight it. Fight the spell Sara...
She turned around, walking to his side. That woman did have some sort of link with the bear, to fight a spell enough to save her.
"Come on, we need Ferdy for this," Sabaka and Sara made their way back to the shed.

He leafed through one of the journals. So many words, all of them big and long. He hadn't known half of these words existed. He would need someone to read them.
"Thank you," he said, "I shall find these most interesting."
Rocky wasn't exactly sure what to do now. He had been positive that once he got inside he could help that one woman, but now... now he wasn't sure if he could help himself.
"I would need someone to help translate a few of these passages," he would need someone to help translate all of them, but he still had to keep up a charade for the man. After all, if he really knew his head would fall off before sundown.
"So, tell me Sith. What are you up to these days?"

Robert Sith:

Sith just stared into Rocky's face, finding it familiar, but the man behind it seemed... Changed... "I will send someone to help you with your script... When you have finished... Send the scribe back to me and I will return..." Sith turned away and made off to find a scribe that could read for Rocky.

Drusilla glanced at Lokken as she walked north. She walked over till she was walking beside him. "Your feeling better now?" she asked "you were quite impressive back there I must say" she smile slightly

Gaia

An unearthly scream released from my lips. Fury was within me and I couldn't stop it.

The men dragged me and I stopped struggling. At least from the towers I could escape and find the man with the bear.

A forest began to spring itself within the castle. It wasn't my doing.

His touch to my face stunned me. I wanted to cut off his tounge for being the way he was.

I had to think rationally, and get ahold of my dear brother.

Sabaka looked left and right. The kitchen was emtpy except for a cook and a waiter. The cook, a pompous old man, was huttled over a stove where the young man was holding a bowl.
"Did he want anything special?"
Sabaka listened to the conversation.
"No, he didn't. He said he just wanted something to eat, I think he is in a fright since his apprentice has come back."
"Never did like that bastard," the cook spat dangerously close to the soup.
"Quiet, you know as well as I do about the stories of Rockingham."
Stories of Rockingham? What?
"Yeah," his tone had changed quite a bit, "It's good to have the lad back."
His fake amusement was shared by the waiter, "Yeah."
The soup bowl had been full, and the waiter made his way to out. Sabaka made a conscious effort to follow him. Inside the castle there were very few guards actually, probably because most were outside guarding against anything evil. He doubted anyuone would think of finding an intruder inside, especially with all the magic and things around here.
"Where does he want to eat his soup?" the waiter asked a guard. He looked at him annoyed and pointed across the hall.
The waiter walked across the room, before stopping and turning halfway back around.
"What is it exactly your guarding again?"
"This is the royal magic room. Everything his master has collected over the years that has magic, he places in here. "
The waiter nodded, only half interested and walked into the room. Sabaka finished the small possesion spell, uttering a few thankful words to the gods.
He walked calmly up to the guard, smiled at the man kindly and pointed at his foot.
"I do believe your shoe is untied."
The man looked down," What?"
The hilt of the sword came down with a vengence. Sabaka quickly opened the door and dragged the unconscious being inside. He changed clothes as quickly as he could, tying up the man and placing him in a corner. Sabaka considered killing him, but he wasn't sure how long he would have to stay dead before he was back in here. He didn't want a needlessly life on his already stained hands.
Sabaka looked at the assorted magical items. He wasn't interested in magic, however, he was interested in the staff. If he could find that one woman's staff he could help her escape from here.
After a simple overlook he couldn't find anything that resembled it. Sabaka stood outside, hoping to get another chance later in the day. He didn't want to seem too obvious about this. His life was really hanging out there now.
The waiter stepped outside, his hands empty.
"Who are you?" he asked.
Sabaka stared rather dully at the man, "The next shift."
The waiter shrugged his shoulders and walked back to the kitchen.

"So, then what?" Rocky asked.
The man looked at him blankly, "Can't you read what happened next."
Rocky made his face become serious, "Of course I can little man. I simply wanted you to read it and tell me, because you tell it so well."
He did like this man's voice. He was calm and funny too. Rocky sat his hands in his lap quietly and listened.
"My magic continues. Daily I grow stronger with the help of Sith. I can feel the magic run deep within me, my life courses with it. I know nothing else now but evil. When I first same to him I was but a boy. My innocence clouded my better judgement. Evil is the one true thing in my life now, I live only to serve Sith's power. We will soon rule the world if this keeps up."
"Wait," Rocky was confused, "So Ro... I mean I was Sith's apprentice. He trained me with magic."
The mage nodded. Rocky didn't know any magic, although he did do that thing with the bars. His mind was running in circles, could it be, could it possibly be? Was he the evil person in those stories?
"Go on," he said solemnly....

OOC: seems the ones with me in the woods have vanished, and thus making it dificult to take part. I'll what happens, but i might bow out.

Brendan:

Coming to stand next to Kitt, Brendan gives her a worried look. "How long before that bastard does something to my sister, do you think?"

After an hour's search Sabaka narrowed it down to three staffs. All of them resembled wood magic in some way. He wasn't good at magic, but he was excellent at detecting it. They all showed earthen magic inside them, he couldn't tell which was hers. They had all been taken from their master's, a weapon taken with magical abilities does not like to share secrets easily. He sighed deeply.
Well, he would just have to take all three to the tower. Sabaka opened his satchel and placed them in. He looked out into the hallway cautiously, to make sure no one had noticed his presense, or the lack of a guard's presense.
Perfect, this place was dead.
He took back the last thought, he wasn't out of the woods yet.
He took back that last thought as well.
Sabaka undressed from the guard's clothing and left as fast as he could. The vents led him to the start of the tower. There was only one way in, through the long archway that wound it's way up within the tower. Sabaka only hoped that Sara and Ferdy had made it inside. There was no telling what would happen in the next hour.
His mind again wandered back to Rocky. Damn, he knew he had forgotten something. One rescue at a time, though.

"Sith is such an idiot. We could have taken that city today. He simply went off with the supplies. A few magical items, some weapons, and other things, but he left the people there alone. I couldn't understand it, they were defenseless, waiting for someone to come and conquer them. There has to be some reason for his lack of ambition. Every time I mention world domination he simply waves his hand and says, 'in good time.'
"Well, the time is up. I can't stand this half ass stealing much longer. The world will be mine, even if I have to go through Sith to get it."
Rocky sat back in his chair. The further it went on, the easier it was to understand. Rocky could even feel what was coming up, he didn't want to, but he could. Doubts about his past were coming clear.
No wonder Sabaka kept it a secret, he didn't want to know what happens next, but something deeper compelled him too.
"What happens next?"
"I have come across a very old text of this world. I have never seen anything like it. I do not know the author, but it seems to be of a very inteligent man. He talks of the world, and it's domination. However, the world itself is not one to comply with this. The world will defend it's life with everything it can. There is a passage that says, 'they shall try to stop it, but in the end, only one truly can.'
I do believe Sith is going to stop my world domination. He must not, tomorrow I will challenge him to a friendly duel, and run him through. He won't even know what's coming."
The mage closes the journal, "That is the end."
Rocky let a tear drop, "Thank you. Tell Sith I am ready to meet with him."

Robert Sith:

After his scribe had returned from reading Rocky's journals to him, Sith made his way to Rockingham's quarters. Standing just outside the room, Sith stared in. Rocky sat in a corner, seeming to stare off into the past. "Rockingham, you have finished reading your journals I see..." Sith said, shaking him from his near trance.

Gaia

They locked me in a tiny cell.

Beginning to hum in anger. I looked out the bared window. The grass was so green, I could barely see it though, I had a view of the castle.

Narrowing my eyes, I figured. If they are going to hold ME captive. They are going to be prisoners too.

Still humming, my hair flew between the bars and were lifted with the breeze.

I hadn't ever used my druid powers for evil. Well, I had...but I had turned my ways. Now, someone was going to pay.

WIth that, for dramatic effect, I took a piece of hair from my head.

Letting it flow in the wind, it sparkled in the sunlight,
as it hit the castle it took root.

A large tree grew in the court yard.

I smiled to myself.

The branches began to slowly shade the enormous building. All sunlight was shut off.

I was going mad. I went back in the cell. Picking up a few other things, I tossed them out the window.

They too took root. I giggled.

Sabaka looked at the two guards standing with some annoyance. He was certain that by now Sara and Ferdy had gotten rid of them. It was going to be an awful rescue indeed if he couldn't even get past the first of the guards.
His heart sank, there was nothing for him to do now, absolutely nothing.
Nearby a war cry ensued. Sabaka looked sharply to the left.
A chocobo and a bear ran with all their might towards the two guards. Both of them looked up in shock as a great fight pummelled down upon them. Being as they were caught totally off guard it did not last long. Sabaka quickly came to their side, tying up the men and making sure they were no where to be seen.
"You did all right," he smiled, patting their heads. Sabaka opened the door that led up the stairs. He tried to make the party as quiet as he could, but wth claws and other things it was slow going. Near the top he heard a warning sound.
"STOP, who's there?"
Sabaka wondered if he could possibly ambush the man from around, but he didn't know who the voice belonged too, or if there were more. Sabaka took the last few steps bravely to see what was up there.
"You foolish knave, to think you could...." his words were caught in his mouth, "Sabaka?"
Sabaka recognized the man instantly, "Tim?"
Tim lowered his sword and walked up to him, "I can't believe it's you. After you grabbed Rocky, I never thought I would see you again."
Sabaka nodded, trying to forget that day, "Yeah," he half smiled.
"I can't believe your back. Wait till Sith finds you."
Sabaka didn't want to stick around for that.
"Which cell is the woman whom Sith just transferred in?"
Tim pointed to the one down the hall, "Why do you want to know?"
"No reason," he said, punching the man square in the nose. He fell to the ground with a loud pop, and didn't move. Sabaka sighed, picking out his magical staff and waving it over the man, uttering some incantations. His eyes fluttered as his breathing returned. Sabaka pulled him over to a corner.
"Come on guys, we need to save her," the animals ran up the last bit of stairs to follow him.

Rocky nodded, not looking at the man who stood in his doorway. So many emotions ran through him he did not know which one to believe anymore. Sabaka was his friend, but somehow this man was too, but he did betray him. Sabaka betrayed him by not telling him his past.
He didn't want to know about his past though.
"You aren't going to kill me now are you?"
The first thought that entered his mind was that Sith would end his life to make sure he wouldn't rebel again. Rocky wasn't sure about many things, but he was sure that what he did Sith wasn't excusable in the least.
Something broke the silence though, as well as the ground beneath them. A plant broke through, growing up to the ceiling before flowering and pushing into the next room.
"Is this your magic?"

Robert Sith:

"I don't intend to kill you son... But I do intend to make sure you never betray me again as you did before..." Sith said as he easilly glided forward, a pin shaped object in his hand. It peirced Rocky's skin only seconds before the tree burst through the floor. A small rivulet of blood welled up from the peirce wound, but other than that it was painless. Whirling away, staring at the tree in disgust, Sith shifted his hate filled eyes onto Rocky one last time. "You will stay here..." He instructed, and for some odd reason, Rocky WANTED to stay put.

Rushing down the halls, Sith was cursing vehiminately. "Gut that druid bitch! Lay her entrails out to dry in the DESERT SUN!!!" HE howled as he burst into the block of cells she had been taken to. In a moment his rage was pushed back and he stepped in front of her cell. "No more of that now..." He chided as he began a spell. He was conjuring up a sphere of anti-magic.

Gaia

I kept humming, the fluid notes trailing out the window and filling the cell.

I heard someone outside the door. I could feel MY magic draining. But, to tell you the honest truth, I hadn't used any of MY magic since I left the forest.

"You are a coward mage boy." I said through the door.
My voice and tounge in druid.

I was almost on the verge of madness. Or maybe just irritation. I hadn't been captive in over five centuries. And that was only for a day.

"Too bad that your magic isn't working." I could feel the my magic swell than recede. It didn't matter to me.

With that, not under my control...A tree branch smashed through the door, aimed at an alarmingly fast pace towards the man. I didn't see this, just knew it happened.

I climbed into a tree in the corner of the room.

"You have to kill the forest to kill me dear dear man."

I said from my 'hiding' space.

"And she doesn't like you." I said referring to the forest.

The total calmness in my voice should have startled me. For, I was, going to die, it was inevitable. But fear didn't overcome me. I wasn't even thinking about dieing.

I felt a presence, my staff...it was near. I had to get it back. That was my chance. "Too bad dear mage, you are a learned magic man. It is in my blood, must kill me to stop me..." I mocked in sing-song.

Closing my eyes. I asked a small flower to weave itself on the wall and meet my staff.

Sabaka kneeled in the corner. He knew other guards were on their way, but for Sith to come himself was an odd thing indeed. There was no time for small favors, or curses. He had to act fast if he wanted her to get out of here alive.
A branch jutted through the door of her cell, knocking Sith to the far wall.
Perfect.
"Ferdy, Sara, GO!"
They both ran to tackle the man. He thanked them for their bravery, for surely it might be their last thing they do on this earth. Sabaka meanwhile ran for the opening the branch had left. He jumped inside, looking around warily. There was no sign of the woman, or walls for that matter. Another forest had appeared itself. She had great powers of the forest, and all of this without her staff. A doubnt crossed his mind, perhaps with the staff she could be unstoppable.
He didn't have time to finish it though, the staff was theived from his hands and taken back to the rightful owner.
Sabaka looked at her gratefully, "I have given back your staff as you promised. Come, you need to leave this place at once, Sith will kill you when he returns."

Gaia

The staff rushed to me.

Jumping from the tree, I couldn't stand the confines anylonger.

The staff grew to it's full height, the bear on the totem pole began to take shape. I felt a surge of energy through me.

"I am forever in debt to you, stay with me and I will repay you. I don't know how, but I will."

I looked at the man oddly, his group of 'associates'. It was odd, and HOW did he understand my druid tounge? Questions would be answered later.

WIth a nod, I saw the door burst open. In came my captor.

I smile graced my lips for the first time in days. "Totemic bear, bring yourself to me."

Out stepped my totem creature, the ravage beast that had sworn its kindred soul with mine to protect me with all it's power.

I licked my lips.

I began to hum, I braced my staff in front of me.

Robert Sith:

Barking in disgust and hate, Sith formed an orb of hell fire between his hands, chanting in an infernal tongue as it grew. It flew unerringly for the bear, blazing along the creatures fur, burning it away, leaving an acrid stench as it continued to burn the monster bear. The bear vocalized its pain as its flesh was seared and scorched. Its fur barely any insulation from the fires of hell. The creature whimpered as it collapsed to the ground, its flesh blackened and cracked from the fiery assault. Sith locked eyes with Gaia. "Very well, if it takes the murder of your sacred woods, you will be put to rest..." He hissed. Through the connection he had with every last one of his undead minions, Sith commanded them silently to converge upon Gaia's forest... And lay it low...

Ooc:when did Sabaka ever understand your druidic tongue?

Sabaka called his two friends over. They had done so well, as much as he could ever think possible. They each now stood bravely behind the woman. She had back her magic, he could detect that she was as strong as she could be.
He just hoped that it was enough.
The blackened and charred bear dropped wth a thud at their feet. Roots and branches continued to grow, unaware of the fight. This seemed like chaos, he almost wished for it to stop. It could not stop, however. If Sith backed down then he would know who was stronger, and if the woman backed down she would surely die.
He couldn't do anything to help her either. Bringing her the staff was all he could do. Now he could only wait, and hope that Sith didn't have too many other tricks up his sleeve.

Gaia

(she has only been speaking in it since she meet her captor, so you have to have understood it...I dunno)

I saw the bear fall to my feet. It's body began to heal, I sent it back to my staff. I felt the power of him surge through me.

"The forest will not die, you may burn it, but beneath the ashes will lie new roots, new sprouts, You can't kill me...only in body."

With that, I shoved my staff into his chest, I began to hum again.

He sent a flaming ball towards me, the vines pushed the man behind me out of the way and lifted me from harm. I was upside down, dangling in front of the man.

I felt the bear's spirit howling in pain, though it would fight till death to save me.

I got upset. Falling atop the man, my size was nothing to scoff at. My frame large and Amazonian, I pinned his neck.

"May the vines suck the life from you and the plants eat your rotting corpse."

The vines began to wrap around him, I looked around the room, in fact the whole castle began to be filled with the forest's weavings.

Robert Sith:

"Fool woman... You are in no place to be giving threats out so idly..." Sith said coldly, he reached up and with an iron grip, clasped his hands on eather side of her face, a surge of cold electricity jumped within her skull. siths face twisted into a mask of delight as Gaia's own knotted in pain. The vines about his body lurched away, flailing as they felt the scorching electricity.
