Sexy Girl used that phrase the other day in a reply she made to MzChrista. While it is certainly an apt description of Christa, I have been rolling the phrase over and over in my mind, and I really like it.
A wicked sense of wickedness.
Isn't that a great descripton of much of the appeal of BDSM? The feeling that while what we are doing is transgressive it is at the same time uplifting. It is wicked, which has a conotation more of misbehaving than of being a bad person. Sort of like the line in the old song "He's good bad, but he's not evil". If we say someone has a wicked sense of something we are saying they are sharp, witty, insightful.
So a wicked sense of wickedness, to me, means a well informed and thought out idea of how to put the taboo aspects of ourselves into the pursuit of pleasure. In other word, what it is that we do in BDSM.

You know, I spoke with a woman the other day that wanted some information about light bondage and how to introduce it to her s/o. I tried to get her to post to this forum but she refused to because she'd be 'overwhelmed' and because people here are all so hardcore.

I guess I've never seen anything particularly 'transgressive' going on here. Then again, I don't know why BDSM would be 'uplifting' either. Some of BDSM looks really boring. It's all a matter of perspective, isn't it?

I *generally* find BDSM uplifting through its intense honesty. When two halves of kink and desires come together to form a whole.
It is a freedom to be able to enact all of your fantasies of endurance and sexuality, Your power or your submissive nature with a partner that will be non judgemental due to their passions running at the same temperature so to say.

The openness of sexual acceptance and honesty is one of the things that draws me to BDSM. There is more tolerance within the lifestyle of many areas where in the vanilla world, there is little to none...physical appearance, sexual orientation, kinks and fantasies, etc...

It allows for wickedness, and we should all be wicked at some point in our lives, not for the intentional harm of others, but for the intentional vast amount of pleasure. The little devil in all of us should be allowed to come out and play. It helps to keep us honest and honorable to and with one another...

Another two cents in the jar...

wow i didn't expect my words would have any kind of impact :)

i dont know how i came up with wicked sense of wickedness but christa inspired it for sure :)

thanks for noticing james

For me it is like being given licensed to allow my fantasies to come true. In a sense the wickedness is freedom. There is no censure here.

And after all this time of being afraid and ashamed of who I was and the feelings I have had... well it is delightfully freeing.

Allowing oneself to be wicked when the adjectives most often used to describe you are friendly, nice, sweet, innocent, and shy is, in fact, quite liberating.

Now, to find the person to enjoy that wickedness.

Sexy-girl, I have found your contributions here to be refreshing and worthwhile. There was no question of noticing you, because you shine.

A kone-like line, indeed, encapsulating the essence of the pursuit.
