A Thread for Avatar Issues.

So as not to clutter the main update thread .....

Changed mine sometime yesterday and it took until this morning to appear. Noted that it changed in some places before it did in others. Seems to be a server propagation time delay.


Will try again later to change it again and see how long that takes.

I am curious about this. I had a pic on the profile side of the site for a long time after it got approved. It didn't appear here when I logged in to this new Xenforo (which I love by the way). I didn't know if the old 100 post rule was still in effect that was blocking it, so I decided to get more active here and have been enjoying the forum. I also changed my pic on the other site when trying to upload one here routed me over there. Just curious how long the 'wait' time is to get a pic?

I'll bring the same comment I posted on the other thread, since it is about Avatar problems, and use this as an "update".

I can not change the Avatar anymore, nor delete it. If you click on "edit" it sends you to Lit Control Panel but nothing happens. It does not affect the AV here in the forums.

I made the following tests:
1. I deleted the picture on Lit Control Panel (which was already different from the AV here) but the current AV (the one you see here) DID NOT change. It still showed despite having deleted on LCP. Which means, the LCP with the AV in the forums ARE NOT connected.

2. I then uploaded a different picture on Lit Control Panel (on 4rth of April?) but it still shows as "waiting for moderation". Before, it didn't took more then a couple of days for approval, at least in my experience.

In any case, my concern is about the AV. Therefore, I would very much appreciate an answer regarding of whether this issue will be resolved or not.

Yes it would. Sadly, it doesn't look like it's much of a priority for the admin though. I might wander off elsewhere and come back in a month and see if anything has changed.

I have the same "User avatar uploaded successfully and waiting for moderation." It's been like that for about 5 days now in my case. I'm a new member, so didn't have one previously. I assume they are just busy as it seems that I've come to the site at a time when they are making significant changes to the layouts.

It was a couple weeks, but I went to the playground and played games to get me a 100 posts just in case it was still a rule.
I have been here on Lit since 2020 but only had 30 posts.
