I knew this Texan last summer and he had a smile to die for - I just couldn't help but smile back. He charmed the pants right off me!

Is this typical of Texans? :rose:

yes ma'am. we're taught that killer smile when we're little biddy babies. that and how to open doors for and hold a chair for a lady.

'course we're all just a little above average in the lovin' area too and that never hurts.:D

I once charmed the pants off myself...and it was after I'd moved to Texas, so the theory holds.

It was cheap and whore-y, and I totally didn't respect myself in the morning. I dodged my calls and emails for weeks until I got the hint.

For the most part yes... we have a few that don't but the probably come from out of state and haven't been taught yet. :D

Yes. By and large they're considered a friendly bunch. It's encouraged in many ways:

Yeah for the most part except for the ignorant ones who still chew dip.

"My" Texan had a smile filled with mischief, merriment and untold naughty promises.

Oh and that slow drawl... *sigh*

Reminds me of the opening movie to Command and Conquer - Red Alert 2, where a Soviet tank crushes that sign before firing a salvo at the camera :D

When I was in Wisconsin there was a lady there that called her friends so they could hear me talk. Seems Yankee women have a "thing" for Texan charm.
I also got conversations started by women in grocery stores ect asking me if I was from Texas when I was talking to friends.
I liked Madison, indeed I did! :D
