A Song for Everything

Radio!! I got this!!! And it's probably even in the same style!

The Buggles - Video Killed The Radio Star

MTV
No, no it is not.

Rancid is an Oakland based punk band that has been around since about '92. A lot of Ska/reggae influence and crossover, depending on the record, but definitely not similar to The Buggles.

You would appreciate Matt Freeman's bass lines.

And if you liked that Pink song, then you'll like Rancid. I'm certain all she did was turn down the band in the mix and out her vocals more out in front.

I was pretty sure that was the case. I was just trying to be funny.

Maybe, but I really do need to talk myself into listening to something new. Especially when just the name screams “you will hate this”. Such as, Megadeath which I have never heard (knowingly), won’t listen to.

And Out Come The Wolves is probably the best starting point. The song "Time Bomb" blew 12 year old me away.

"Journey to the End of East Bay" (which I may have posted before) is my favorite lick.

lol I live in the East Bay. Heading to Oakland in 15 minutes.
My wife lived in Oakland just above 580. She knew all the places Tim was singing about in "East Bay Nights". We used to hit up Rudy's Can't Fail Cafe in Emeryville every time we visited.
