I don't know If you have seen the email that is making the rounds to see how many people they can get to digitally signit and keep passing it along but I was wondering if we wanted to do a lit snail mail version.

This would be a long term project.

It would begin by me sending the card/letter out to someone they would sign it write/add a little note and they would send it on to the next person.

The only person who would have your address would be the person who sends it to you, which soon as they sent the letter would get rid of it.

Some thoughts would be to have each person;

Buy a new envelop and stamp to send it to the next person. Surely we can afford 50 cents to a dollar, can't see a yellow envelop costing more than that to send anywhere globally.

For each person to sign thier name either real or lit name and there home area{state/province} however specific they would care to get with it.

To place the former stamp and postage mark inside the new envelope cause stamps and postage marks can be kinda cool. {well to me anyways}

Each person can wrtie a little note or letter for all to read, tell what the wether was like or what ever it was on your mind that day.

Lets have discussion and sign up for those interested in this. Hopefully this can be a fun project.

I figure if this takes off maybe the final reciepiant could possible scna everything into the puter and Laurel might want to put up a web page for it. THe Literotica Snail Mail

Discuss . . . please

Add me to the list. We could use the board to track where it is and where it's going.

I don't know that we need many rules.

I don't particularly like the idea of too many people that I don't know having my address, but other than that it should be fair game.

One suggestion: If there are too many that are interested, we could do it as a Lit. Travel Journal and see how many states/countries we can get it through. May take a little bit more postage, but not much. Each person add a page. . .

Cutie, only the person who sends to you or who you send it to will have your address. It'll go into a new envelope each time. :)

SC - I understood that. . .I was just saying that my only real concern is having my location known, but he dealt with that issue with the new envelope idea.

Todd. . .looks like there's enough signed up to get started. . .

YOu can count me in if you would sounds like an interesting idea seeing how many states something can be sent to and the chance to get a letter from lit friends to see how things are going. I may even put a picture in if I can get some done by the time it gets to me.

Sling it my way, Doc...
short hop from Michigan to Indiana.

Sounds like fun!:D

On a french discussion list, we are a bunch of books lover, we started a Journal for all us members. One person keep the adresses of the one who want to participated and is charged to let the next one know where to send the package. We started the round of poeple in Europe, next a couple of french island, afterward the USA and the Canada. We could add what we like, pics of ourself, quotes, information about our town, etc... we put what we want. I think the journal will make more than one round around the world since new members always add to the list.

Alright, sounds interesting. I'll even volunteer to be at the end of the European leg of this thing, sending it on to either the Americas or the Antipodes.

Wow this is cool This thing is really starting to take shape.

pictures a journal they all sound like awesome ideas
