A repository for Ican'ts incessant whining about Trump's conviction

I don't need medical attention. I posed a question. The least you could do is answer it honestly.

How many different screen names do you have now?

Just an honest question- which I suspect you are unwilling to give an honest answer to. Because that is how forum trolls work: Create an army of aliases and spew bullshit to rile people up. And also pretend to be something they are not, in your case, a lawyer.

Wow, I asked Hisarpy a simple question- how many different screen names do you have now- and he still refused to give an honest answer. You know what? I give up.

I'm trying to figure out how way back when I did some stupid shit and was convicted of a felony I was not allowed to vote for a few years, and then had to appear in court and have my record officially expunged before I could vote again. Yet, from my understanding of this, he is now a convicted felon but can still run for office?

Am I wrong on this? If I'm not this really shows some serious issues with our system.
The Constitution doesn't bar convicts from running for president or from holding the office. Probably because the founding fathers envisioned a very, very different system from the one that actually evolved.

By your logic then any conviction of Donald Trump should at least be mirrored to Joe Biden. The difference is Joe didn’t have the authority to take anything out of a SCIF. Joe Didn’t have the authority to possess outside of security regulated areas. The same statutes apply to Hillary Clinton and she walked. If people are expected to be believe our government law enforcement and judiciary you have to apply the law equally and fairly.

The obstruction case is another facet of this case. Hillary committed obstruction of justice, bleach bit her equipment and destroyed all her cell phones after the house judiciary subpoenaed her E- mails.

Move on dipshit.

If you want to have a conversation knock off the insults and childish rhetoric otherwise move on. I'm certainly not trying to cover up for your so-called criminal in chief.

At the time those documents were removed from the White House, for whatever reason, Trump was CiC, the only elected official that can classify and de-classify at all levels and has unobstructed authority on all levels of classification with the exception of dept of energy and our nuclear secrets. Biden never had that authority till elected president. Biden's violations occurred when he was a senator and VP. It's a little more complex an issue but this is a simple overview without getting too deep into statutory legal explanations or separation of powers in accordance with constitutional law.

You insulted me and I returned the favor. Directed to 77

Thank you for your advocacy for wanting felons who’ve paid their time or, as in your case, having their felon expunged to be able to become again proper citizens in our democratic society. I can count on esteemed members like you to call out Ron Desantis in Florida and any other politician or state not wanting to restore voting rights to those who want a second chance at life and are still required to pay taxes. 👍

The system does profit off this by the way. There's a set period of time that has o go by before you can clear it, and when you go before the judge the only thing they're looking for is have you stayed out of trouble since. I mention that because some people keep getting in trouble, and if that's the case, they shouldn't get chances because they haven't gotten their crap together yet, so it is a case by case basis. But I agree that blanket laws like "You'll never vote again" fly in the face of believing in second chances, people learning and growing from mistakes and earning the same opportunities others have.

Circling back, the profit comes from, do you think this is free? The judge deemed me qualified to get these things off my record and sealed, but for...$649 and that was just over 25 years ago. Can't imagine what it might cost now.

But its worth it all day long to not have to worry about background checks for jobs or other things and to be able to get your rights back.

I believe the actual crime affects circumstances as well. I did something serious, but I didn't murder or rape anyone. It also wasn't drug related. I saw that because I have total disdain for drug users and dealers. I've never so much as taken a hit from a joint of put a cigarette in my mouth. Morals...they're a personal and funny thing.

This belong here:

Ponder this, a NY state court is having a massive effect on a national scale. That in itself is unconstitutional. NY is interfering with a federal election cycle. A NY state court prosecuted federal statutes outside their jurisdiction.

You’re full of shit and the proof is below.

Give it up. All of what you said is inaccurate wishful MAGA lack of thinking and displays ignorance or denial of the facts.

A presidential candidate is not immune to prosecution for illegal acts regardless of whether there is an active campaign.

NY state law has its own statutes the conviction was brought on. Can you read?

https://nycourts.gov/judges/cji/2-PenalLaw/175/175.10.pdf

https://www.nysenate.gov/legislation/laws/PEN/175.10

§ 175.10 Falsifying business records in the first degree.

A person is guilty of falsifying business records in the first degree
when he commits the crime of falsifying business records in the second
degree, and when his intent to defraud includes an intent to commit
another crime or to aid or conceal the commission thereof.

Falsifying business records in the first degree is a class E felony.

Here’s the NY state election law that makes the business records falsification a felony:

https://www.nysenate.gov/legislation/laws/ELN/17-152

§ 17-152. Conspiracy to promote or prevent election. Any two or more
persons who conspire to promote or prevent the election of any person to
a public office by unlawful means and which conspiracy is acted upon by
one or more of the parties thereto, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.

Another sham trial in NY. Found guilty of a crime committed in 1996 by a Trump hating prosecutor, Trump hating Judge and a Trump hating jury on flimsiest of hearsay evidence. It's more of the same bullshit, Trump cannot get a fair Trial in New York that's why criminal charges originate in New York, it's the only venue these political hacks can win.

Rule 2.11: Disqualification

Share:
(A) A judge shall disqualify himself or herself in any proceeding in which the judge’s impartiality* might reasonably be questioned, including but not limited to the following circumstances:
(1) The judge has a personal bias or prejudice concerning a party or a party’s lawyer, or personal knowledge* of facts that are in dispute in the proceeding.
(2) The judge knows* that the judge, the judge’s spouse or domestic partner,* or a person within the third degree of relationship* to either of them, or the spouse or domestic partner of such a person is:
(a) a party to the proceeding, or an officer, director, general partner, managing member, or trustee of a party;
(b) acting as a lawyer in the proceeding;
(c) a person who has more than a de minimis* interest that could be substantially affected by the proceeding; or
(d) likely to be a material witness in the proceeding.
(3) The judge knows that he or she, individually or as a fiduciary,* or the judge’s spouse, domestic partner, parent, or child, or any other member of the judge’s family residing in the judge’s household,* has an economic interest* in the subject matter in controversy or in a party to the proceeding.

(C) A judge subject to disqualification under this Rule, other than for bias or prejudice under paragraph (A)(1), may disclose on the record the basis of the judge’s disqualification and may ask the parties and their lawyers to consider, outside the presence of the judge and court personnel, whether to waive disqualification. If, following the disclosure, the parties and lawyers agree, without participation by the judge or court personnel, that the judge should not be disqualified, the judge may participate in the proceeding. The agreement shall be incorporated into the record of the proceeding.

Donald Trump's lawyers are again asking Judge Juan Merchan to recuse himself from the former president's New York hush money trial, seven months after the judge declined a similar request by defense lawyers.

Defense lawyers filed a letter Monday arguing that Merchan's daughter's work for the digital consulting firm Authentic Campaigns creates an "ongoing financial interest" tied to the former president's criminal trial.

"Under these circumstances, Your Honor has an interest in this case that warrants recusal, there is an unacceptable risk that the Court's family relationships will influence judicial conduct, and the Court's impartiality 'might reasonably be questioned,'" defense lawyer Todd Blanche wrote, asking for permission to file a motion in support of recusal.

MORE: Judge in hush money case e

Just because she was appointed by Trump doesn't make her a biased jurist. There is no known evidence that Judge Cannon had any outside personal relationship with Trump, no known contributions to the Trump campaign, unlike Judge Merchan who actually contributed to to the Biden campaign and who's daughter is a key fund raiser for democrat politicians like Adam Schiff who spent much of his time trying to impeach Trump. A trump conviction could positively impact campaign donations to the Biden campaign.

Appointing a special master was a rookie mistake which was quickly rebuked and corrected by two Trump appointed appellate judges in the 11th circuit.

A magistrate judge Bruce Reinhart has been assigned to assist in the case. His expertise as a trial attorney for the DOJ's public integrity section should keep the trial on the straight and narrow. Till the trial begins to formulate a case for bias is just a little premature and more fire! fire! hair on fire from the likes of Andrew Weissman perhaps the most politically corrupt and biased attorneys in history. In my opinion if Biden can walk for not only having possession of top secret documents but also failed to secure them, that alone should set a precedence. Richardson, Clinton, Pence and Biden all walked. imho

Why do you waste your time. These TDS laden zealots would agree to a 50 year prison sentence for J-WALKING.

You are totally full of shit. When expert witness testimony is denied or restricted especially if exculpatory evidence can be provided for the defense then due process is violated. Most judges want the defense to provide any and all witness testimony to avoid the appearance if inappropriate biases. Not this clown.
More of ican't's whining about a Judge who made a ruling he disagree's with....

More of his whining on Trump being a victim....

I don’t believe any president should have unlimited immunity from prosecution. Trump’s case can be litigated outside the realm of total immunity strictly based on constitutional law and 1st amendment protections.

The Mar-a-Lago raid should never have happened. NARA should never have involved the DOJ,
NARA along with the courts could have led Trump step by step to relinquish control of whatever documents they wanted back. This was abuse of power. If Biden can walk so can Trump. I know in your eyes I’m carrying water for Trump but I’m not. Equal application of the law, equal protection under the law.

More of his IKYABWAI

You cowards that put people on ignore are just classless. Trump was very rarely mentioned in the arguments. The crux of the arguments was to determine due to lack of precedence how to protect the office of the presidency from future civil or criminal prosecutions once a president leaves office which would cripple a president's latitude to make controversial decisions and severely render the office of the president fragile and inept to pursue tough decisions without fearing future political retribution. SOTUS was saddled with a decision of how much immunity is enough immunity and when to send it to the lower courts.

No it’s not. For those Trump haters any immunity granted to Trump’s executive branch is just that shallow political expediency.

The crux of the argument;

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/su...e-updates-former-presidents-lawyer-rcna149186

While the court’s three liberal justices appeared most sympathetic to prosecutors, the court’s conservatives seems to have differing views on the scope of presidential immunity, making it unclear exactly how the court will rule.

Several justices raised concerns about the broad implications for future presidents, with most steering clear of discussing the specific allegations against Trump.

“If an incumbent who loses a very close, hotly contested election, knows that a real possibility after leaving office is not that the president is going to be able to go off into a peaceful retirement, but that the president may be criminally prosecuted by a bitter political opponent, will that not lead us into a cycle that destabilizes the functioning of our country as a democracy?” asked conservative

Morewhining, it's the same over and over..."but but Trump was prosecuted...." well he broke the fucking law got caught and faced or will face justice...

I don’t know, I’m way past trying to validate any media sources for truthfulness.

I’m all done with you, you’re an arrogant fuck laden with TDS on steroids. You just refuse to see very similar unethical and criminal behavior in your own backyard. You point to Trump being guilty on all charges, I’m more concerned about our legal system being broken. Just answer one question to yourself, would Alvin Bragg have conjured up this elaborate scheme against Joe Biden.

^Oh, he understands it just fine. It's clearly his utopian ideal for a nation's system of government. He just doesn't like the negative connotations that go along with the term.

Much like, he isn't afraid to make statements that are profoundly bigoted and racist, but yet will still get upset when he is called a racist.
