Hi there, i have been around here for a long time but haven had the courage to actually post, but here i go, finally registered and all


My boyfriend and i would like to try Anal, and i was wonders if people here could give me advice on the non-comerical products that could be used as lube, lets just ignore the fact i cant/wont go out and buy them for now and concentrate of the question at hand

Good and safee lubes to use, for anal sex, that cnan be found around the house, forinstence, i have this "The Body Collection" Body lotion, and petroleum jelly, aswell as some Vaseline Intensive Care lation, but its a "dry skin" formula so i'm not sure if thats a good idea.

other ideas and comments are welcome but please be gentle...i bruise easy ^_^
 
Maybe you could try Crisco, I know you can use it as a skin conditioner my dermatoloigst told me it's a good as any cream or lotion for the skin. So I would think you could grease up that sweet little ass of yours up with that and get to butt fucking, it's awsome.

Hands down, no question, best "household" product for lube is olive oil.

Got this brainstorm years ago whan a massage therapist told me she avoided olive oil because it was just TOO thick and slippery and they need something that will give them the ability to get a little bit of traction when needed. Well, it dawned on me this might be advantageous in certain.. uhm.. other circumstances and it's been a real fortunate discovery, ESPECIALLY for anal, where industrial strenght lube is sometimes a must and always a good thing.

Unfortunately like most things in life, your best bet is to go with the product that was designed specifically for that use.

With anal, you need to do what you can to make sure you are very relaxed and ready to try. It does feel a bit uncomfortable and even painful, if you aren't ready. I used to drink a wine cooler whenever we were considering anal sex.

Lots of foreplay which should include some digital penetration or at the very least, anal play. Moving slowly and progressively towards penetration will only help you to enjoy it more.

Then, when he does enter, if you feel pain, press down as if you are having a bowel movement. The pressure eases the pain and makes the experience more enjoyable for you both.

I support the motion that you should just buy the real thing.

A good water based lube is what you really want. I recommend that if it is possible, you should get sample sizes of a number of different brands, as some can be irritating for some people. I'll avoid the product placement, but my wife and I went through a few brands before we settled.

If you still insist on raiding the pantry, I agree with weathered2. Olive oil can be the secret to eternal happiness, especially where your ass is concerned -- I speak from experience. I also heard a rumor that it serves as a mild spermicide, but then I suppose that won't be an issue from behind.

If you are young, the first time you purchase something like that can be a tad embarrassing, but if you can take a mature attitude and approach to it, it does get easier! I vote for the real deal, water-based lube as well, and also with having your bf buy it for you if you really cannot force yourself to do it. And wearing a condom is just smart. If either of you buying the lube is out of the question, then the olive oil sounds like a good choice, although I have no personal experience with it LOL I have heard that you should NOT use petroleum jelly, so I would avoid that as well as the lotions you mentioned. I would think they'd be likely to cause quite a bit of irritation that you could do without.

Gay friends of mine like Crisco, BUT they also have funny stories about picking up the butter-flavored Crisco by mistake ... apparently the smell of that stuff clings for days. If you're feeling adventurous enough to begin anal play with something from the kitchen cupboard (and I certainly wouldn't consider it), regular Crisco might be a good choice.
