I'm planning a trip up to Montreal next month. We may be driving up. The SO has a few questions for all of you.
What is the avarage price for regular gas?
What is the avarage cost for a pack of ciggeretts?

Gas 72 cents a liter
Smokes around $10 a pack.

Okay, taking into account the exchange rate..

1 litre of gas is around .80 cents x 4 = 3.20 (less the exchange percentage if you're paying in U.S. $'s and 4 litres is almost = to a gallon.

Cigs...BAH..$7.00 - 8.00 per pack again, minus the exchange rate.

These are Toronto prices, Montreal may be higher, Roxanne would know!

Yeah your gas is cheaper out there, ours is hovering between 78 and 81, depending on the day.

AND the cig's are more expensive out west, obviously

If I'm calculating the exchange rate right, the price for cigs should be about the same, while gas will cost a little more. This is going to be a great weekend, seeong as though I won't have to wory about gas or cigs (I don't drive or smoke. hee hee.)!

It's been around the 75 mark here lately but we make the stuff so it should be much cheaper. That bugs me lol

I'm glad I quit smoking though. Can't afford the 8-10 bucks it costs. $40 a week habit is too expensive. I may as well turn to crack!

Get them at the duty free before you come. Even with the exchange rate, you are looking at 6$ US if you buy them in Cda.
