Some time ago, I read a science fiction novel called Camouflage, by Joe Haldeman. At one time, an event of a somewhat sexual nature occured, and I was wondering if you of Lit, who are far more knowledgable of the subject than I, could tell me if it's possible.

The story revolves around a shapeshifting being called the Changeling. At one point, it takes the form of a woman and ends up falling in love with a guy. The Changeling is exposed and has to make a run for it, but is so much in love that it tries again using another shape. However, it is exposed the first time it and it's love have sex, because the guy recognizes the feeling of its pussy, which it hasn't bothered to change.

Now, is it posible for a guy to recognize a woman that way?
