My question is simple, but in two parts.
1 -. Do any of you understand what I'm talking about when I say that "surrender", apart from any object can be sexually arousing?
2 - Have any of you experienced arousal when contemplating surrender, apart from any object?
The MCs in my stories experience sexual arousal, to orgasm, from the act of surrendering. They're not surrendering to another person, even though another person must inflict actions to which they must surrender (binding, whipping, public exposure).
The closest analogy I have is to martyrdom. Religious martyrdom (think paintings of St. Sebastian and St. Theresa) is not quite on point because, presumably, those people are surrendering to God. Certainly not to the people stabbing at them.
In my childhood Nathan Hale was of great interest to me. ("I only regret that I have but one life to give for my country.)
My favorite erotic story is Enslaving Eli. On the surface it seemed like just another femdom story, but I realized that the ending shone a light on the whole thing. In the end, Eli surrenders to another unknown woman, knowing it was his fate.
I didn't post this in BDSM because it is precisely about not involving personal relationships.
Anyway, like I said. The question is simple. Does this ring a bell for you, either just conceptually or experientially??
