well i've tried to explain but i don't know how well i did for him. perhaps Annie can record how to say the words! she has clear diction.

the recording pellegrino was listening to was pretty dire, to be fair, and you know how some people just can't 'hear' certain sounds/speech-patterns. or they think they hear them but can't reproduce them and are then unable to discern between what they've heard and how they've said it. or something. I think the Henry Higgins and Eliza example illustrates what i'm trying to say so very awkwardly.
