A Place Of Ones Own (closed)

Annie gasped softly as his cock slipped into her body so slowly and carefully. His hands pulled her until she was pressed against his chest, his hips moving in a slow, rocking motion. Her own hands moved to his, holding him as his lips caressed over her shoulders and throat.

She wanted so much with him. She wanted a peaceful little life with a gaggle of children. She wanted him to be happy most of all. She wanted her family to finally be able to have the peace that they deserved.

"More, love..." She murmured softly, gasping as his lips suckled on the sensitive flesh beneath her ear.

With a quiet groan, David answered her plea by slowing down and bringing her back to her hands and knees after kissing her neck warmly. His strokes grew deeper and firmer, reaching places she didn't know he could, impossibly deep within her. His hands braced on her hips, encouraging her to move with him and take all he could give her.

Annie gasped, moaning softly as he reached places deep within her that he had never touched before. She brought a hand to her lips and bite down at her soft skin to keep from crying out her pleasure. Moving with him, making love with him, it only strengthened the bond with David.

If they'd been at home, David would've stopped her from stifling such a beautiful sound, but he instead followed her example. He pressed his face against her back, and she felt the deep rumbles of his groan in her chest as he tried to keep quiet. She also felt it when he got a devilish smirk on his face and decided to make it a little harder for her to hold back, just for fun. He drew back, his cock glistening with her juices, and he slowly pressed into her bottom. His jaw clenched hard at the intense tightness, but he pressed on with his smirk. They'd only ever done this before in similar situations when David was trying to get her in trouble.

Annie squealed at the intense feeling of his cock pressing into her bottom. She could feel his smirk against her shoulder, the deep rumble in his chest like a great cat. Her fingers gripped the sheets tightly, nearly tearing them as he sought to make her cry out.

"David..." She whispered softly, moaning lowly as he continued to saw in and out of her body.

He chuckled almost darkly, enjoying their game and this little power he had to tease her. He knew it'd probably earn him a smack later, but it was so incredibly worth it. "Yes, love?" David muttered into her ear before nipping her earlobe.

"You are so wicked." She shivered as he nipped at her earlobe.

She couldn't help it as she clenched tightly around his cock, massaging him as he made her body burn. It reminded her of the first time he'd taken her like this. They had been in Edinburgh on their honeymoon, guests of the King of Scotland. Their room had a large window, overlooking a courtyard. He had pressed her against the window on a bright, moonlit night, her body there for anyone to see as he pleased her beyond anything she could have ever imagined.

"Remember our honeymoon?" She murmured softly, wondering if he held such wonderful memories as dearly as she did.

"Gods, do I remember," he smirked. "I thought you'd slap me the next morning." His lips trailed across her back. Soon he began to tense up, but he held back his release and picked up the pace. He wanted so badly to hear her moan as she came. It was one of his favorite sounds in the world.

Annie tensed beneath her husband as he picked up his pace, thrusting into her with a pace that took her breath away. She whimpered, struggling to keep herself under control. He was wicked. He was lovely. He was completely hers. Annie let out a cry as she came, her entire body lurching under her husband as she struggled to control the noises that came from her lips.

David chuckled darkly as she was too loud for just a moment, and he silenced her with a punishing kiss. It also served to muffle his own groan as his seed shot into her body in warm waves. With a deep sigh, his heavier form settled over hers, still supporting himself on his knees and one arm planted on the bed.

Annie jerked, gasping as he kissed her so passionately. She whimpered as David's heavy body fell over hers, covering her in the intimate way that she absolutely loved. Their sweat covered bodies complimented one another as she leisurely kissed her husband, nuzzling against him as they slowly came down from their intense high.

Pulling back from her tight body, David laid on his back and drew her up over him to lay against his cooling chest. With a playful chuckle, he grinned up at her, cheeky as ever as he knew he might get in trouble for making her cry out so loudly.

Annie simply stared down into her husband's eyes, giving him a grin that showed him there were no hard feelings for making her cry out. She leaned in and kissed him gently, cupping his cheek in a loving gesture.

"You complete me, sweet husband." She murmured softly. "I can't imagine my life with you in it. I was a fool to try and push you away."

"Yes you were," he muttered teasingly. "Because you know I'll never leave you for anyone or anything else. I'd give the world and all its seven seas to have you."

Kissing her again, he let her lay her head against his shoulder and he fell still, basking in the simple feeling of the moment with her.

Annie's eyes closed and she had a smile upon her lips as she drifted off to sleep with her husband's arms wrapped around her. The nightmares and doubts that had plagued her as a child were a thing of the past when David was near.

The next morning came quietly and the younger adults of the family gathered, now with David among them, to await their parents and tell them in no uncertain terms that they were done with fighting for the most part.

It was while they were talking that Ria entered unnoticed and listened in. Eventually she cut in. "What mischief are you all up to?"

Annie paused and joined everyone else in staring at Ria as she interrupted their meeting before going to their parents. She was unprepared for her mother-in-law to make herself known, but she should have guessed that the strong willed woman would have something to say about what was going on in Inverness.

"We are making plans for the take over of Inverness." Annie said simply, knowing that there was no way to beat around the issue.

"And you think your parents will hand over the reins so easily? Brogan's stubborn as a mule and Julia is taking his place and being just the same. Don't get me started on their brothers and sisters."

"We have to, Ma... it's not that we're taking over and leaving them behind... it's just that we know they can't handle any more time on the battlefield."

"I know they can't... that's why I won't stand in your way. Just don't leave them out."

"We're not, Ria. But I know how stubborn my father is and I think it's best if we are all on the same page before we go to them with our plans." Annie said resolutely, looking at David and seeing complete and total support.

"Then don't let me stop you," Ria nodded, and strode quietly away. David was honestly surprised that she didn't try to stop them or change their plans.

"So... what else d'we need t'nail down?" Leon spoke up after a long silence.

Annie watched as Ria exited just as silently as she had entered the room. She let out a sigh, knowing that her mother-in-law had opinions that were probably different from her own. Still, she had to do what was best for her mother and father.

Turning back to her cousins, she continued their brief meeting before they all moved towards the great hall where their parents were meeting for breakfast. Julia sat beside Brogan, looking tired and worn out as she pushed food around her plate, leaning her cheek against the palm of her husband as he reached up to caress her face. Annie had never seen her mother look so tired.

"Da? Ma? There is something that we would all like to talk to you about." Annie announced.

Brogan turned his head toward them, bringing Julia closer to comfort her. "What is it, love?" He asked quietly. His voice, hoarse and quiet, summed up how he and all his siblings were feeling.

"What's all this?" Kreston asked as he entered with Selena.

Annie suddenly felt a little nervous about their plans. She knew that her family was worn and tired and she knew that what they would propose was incredibly dangerous. Looking at her mother's tired and pale expression and her father's dull eyes...she knew she had made the right choice.

"We have decided that effective immediately, your fighting days are done." Annie said softly. "Da, you have done a great service to your kingdom and given up far more then any man should ever have to. We have all decided among ourselves that we will take up your cause."

In the silence that followed her words, Brogan's blind gaze darkened slowly, and no one else dared to speak as he had the last say and he was either going to explode or speak in that incredibly dangerous, quiet tone that warned all to back down, the very voice that could talk down warriors from their cause.

"No." He spoke quietly, and turned his head away to tell her they were done, right then and there.

"Da-" Ciaran tried.

"I told you no, lad!" Brogan growled.

Annie had never heard her father use that dangerously dark voice to anyone but warriors before. She straightened her back, steeled herself with a deep breath and prepared herself to hurt his feelings.

"No, Da. This isn't done." She insisted, stepping towards his table with that same stubborn look in her eyes. "We are not children any longer. We have families of our own and we are willing to fight for Inverness just as you did in your younger days. We know how dangerous it is but we still want the chance."
