A petition both R and D can support.

And we could find out if what Trump said is true:

"I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?"

Yes, I know not Fifth Avenue, but if he wouldn't loose any there, he certainly shouldn't loose any for shooting someone at the convention.

If you can get Research *and* Development on the same side of an issue, then I am all in!

:thumbs up:

I'm relatively certain that there are lots of Republicans at any given gun show. Table after table of firearms, high-capacity magazines and ammo. Somehow, no one seems to get shot.

At the DNC convention, rest assured there will be plenty of firearms. Police, security and bodyguards. Of, course, if they have a badge or a week of training, they are magically the safe bearers of armre

Guns are interesting as a litmus test. One's view on guns is really just simply a translation of one's views on Authority.. those who inherently trust authority over the individual are called Democrats

I would piss myself laughing if there was a mass shooting at the Republican convention.
Count on it. But who will do the shooting? Chicago 1968 was a police riot. Who will riot in Cleveland?

Which is why Tromp's thoughtful supporters press their noses to the vivid arse of an authoritarian goon. Noted.

MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! Let's see, when was USA last great? Probably 1945-1960, when most of the rest of the industrialized world was rebuilding the wreckage of WWII, and niggers & chinks & spicks & bitches knew their places, and most people didn't carry firearms in public. Didn't need them -- baseball bats and ropes are all that are needed for lynchings. How to be great again? Hand out more ropes.

Remember when "gun control" was favored by the GOP? Ronald Reagan was governator of California. Black Panthers openly carried shotguns and rifles on the steps of the state capitol. Reagan pushed drastic firearms laws through the legislature. Funny about that. Control niggerz' gunz, not mine, eh?

Fun to use ascription as an excuse to use those naughty words that quite obviously roll off your tongue with the ease that only comes from practice.

Every gun show I've been to loaded weapons were prohibited

Just like at the GOP convention, though I haven't heard any DNC people suggest a riot if they don't get their way.
Trust you to miss the irony of the thread topic.

Bush, Cheney, John Ashcroft, et al. are democrats? Who knew?

Only reflecting the zeitgeist, kemosabe. Perhaps you missed out. It was a WASP world then. Four automakers, three networks, two parties, and one GAWD over all. Awesome time for rapes, lynchings, and assassinations. And nary a tentacle in sight.

PS: This is my LIT post #7700. Only 77 to go.

I would expect a few amusing moments of Darwinism.

True to his beta male roots, Que lacks the courage to profess an opinion one way or the other as to whether he supports this petition. Hence, deflection.

Personally, I think it's a good idea, guns should be open carry at the Republican convention, given the long history of Second Amendment worship.

What do you think, Que? Hmmm?
