A Perfect Censorship

Seems to be just another whine about political correctness.

They want to be able to use whatever platform they want to promote their stupid.

In the 80s and 90s, the antivaxxer crowd, the big lie crowd....the anti-authority bullshit crowd got together at 2am on random public access channels to discuss their horseshit and nobody cared.

Now they have a more public face and think their base of objective facts is on the same level as actual objective facts.

Here it is not censorship.

The left quote the media line repetitively as to drown any truth.

When I found the political thread I was hoping for discussion. Actual understanding what might be good that comes from the liberal sides of the house.

On thread that failed into nonsense the guy mentioned something Trump said that was not quite accurate. The next sentence wash "Biden makes one mistake"...

I gave up after that. Biden makes mistakes and states untruths everyday he does not call a LID. Just one example of how they change the subject.

Nothing to see here...

When degreed and board-certified doctors are silenced by purple-haired censors at Facebook, we have a problem. And that is the least of the issues with Big Tech and their joined-at-the-hip relationship with the Central State.

Section 230 of the CDA was based on the presumption that internet fora were essentially open bulletin boards and that tech companies, being able to police every post, couldn't be held liable for those posts. They were not publishers, IOW.

We now know this to be no longer the case, with the Big Three and their various subsidiaries tightly controlling what is put on their platforms. They have become publishers, and should be open to lawsuits as such. Clarence Thomas has pointed his out in the dicta of a decision.

By "Central State," you seem to mean something other than the USG.

We're white people. What Bud, Coronus and I all believe is that these platforms must allow us to say whatever we want.
