Intelligence agents have photographed the Norwegian's latest attack vessel!

If I knew where Norway was, I would be in good steed to attack them first, but I never read anything.

Very sensibly, too. Reading always leads on to harder stuff like writing and before you can say Antidisestablishmentarianism, you turn into a blinkin' intellectual, a whoopsie and an anarchist.

Exactly what happened to this fellah; young subalturn in my old unit. Fortunately, highly disciplined soldier that he was, he spotted the symptoms and managed to shoot himself through the head just in time.

What's this? Etiquette for Men? But surely if one's born to it, it comes natural, what? I mean, it's in the blood! Good breeding can't be taught; it's compassed by a millennium of traceable ancestry, not between the covers of some voguish pamphlet.

This sort of "belle litter" smacks to me of no less than social mobility! Why, one might as well be a bally republican!

Why such views are exactly the kind of spirit which founded the Empire, more power to your elbow I say!
