A New Creation.

[BOh, YUM!

That reminds me, I absolutely love mature chedder cheese sarnies, with crushed cheese and onion crisps added. *drool*

I have very refined tastes, I do. :p

Lou :D [/B]

No fair!! I now have an almost overwhelming urge for cheese and crisp sandwiches. None in the house, shops closed......I know. Chips. Chip butty. *slobbering at the thought*. That's it, I'm off to make some chips, place your orders now.

PS. Back to the toad in the hole..........it HAS to be served with onion gravy.

chip butty

Aaaahhhhhhhhhh

That's better.

One greasy, fat and cholestrol loaded chip butty consumed.

Now I'm ready for ........almost anything.

:D

Gladly, Lou.

'Fries Sandwich', doesn't have quite the same ring to it, does it? They are so deprived, sometimes I feel overwhelmed with sympathy for their state. *sigh*.

Try this site, people, it might just help.

You ought to be glad we're not scottish, what with their haggis and all. Yuk lol

I don't even want to attempt discribing the ingredients for that one. :D

Been there, ate that. It's better than Stewed Possum and Kidney Pudding, but not by much. (There are few foods I will not or have not tried. unfortunately I am banned by my bodie from trying some dshes, I can't eat Bi-Valves. {Clams, Oysters, Scallops, etc.} One of my favorites is Pan Fried Rattle Snake, fried with Onions and Garlic.)

Mat., Lou, U.K. folk: Let me get this right. You make sandwiches that consist of white bread and fried potatoes? I am speechless. Disabuse me of this thought, please. If not, do you use a spread on this thing, e.g., marmite, Yorkshire pudding, etc.

Gawd, I can't wait to tell my brother about this (he's had clogged artery problems).

Perdita

Yes my sweet rose, you've got it right, almost. You see a perfect chip butty has to be home made chips, with the best bread money can buy and not forgetting that all important ingredient, a spot of ketchup. Perfection!

Carl:kiss:

Carl, I still cannot take this in. Why aren't you all dead?

take care, seriously, Perdita :)

The search continues for something new...how do you feed an appetite that is never satisfied...when whatever they have is never quite good enough and they go on to the next item on the menu?

Oh they say they're a one sandwich person...but they're always looking at what's available on the menu...while they're eating the sandwich that's in front of them...

Do I detect a hint of bitterness in your tone?

Lou :rose:

P.S. Perdita, chip butties rule! :D
