I woke up today with the premise for a story running through my brain. The only problem, is that this story idea was obviously a month or two late in arriving, because it's a perfect premise for a hallowen story. Unfortunately, I'll have forgotten it by the time next year's halloween contest comes aroung.
How often do you get a story idea that would be perfect for a contest or holiday theme when it's too late (or way too early) to actually use it?
(For those who are curious, the idea was for a story named "Dead Women's Clothes" about a woman who is "possessed" by the previous owners of clothes bought at a thrift shop -- or at least possessed by their libidos.)
