A Loving Couple that fits the description.

I am so tired of stories in the loving couples category being anything but. How about one with a couple somehow stumbling on a sex club together. Instead of the overdone plot of only one being interested and throwing away a 30 year marriage, they decide to explore together and find out things they never knew about themselves and their partner.

Under the idea of "be the change you want to be in the world," can I entice you to write it on your own? It can truly be liberating.

A loving couple finding out a sex club and reigniting their marriage. I imagine them looking, getting ideas, and talking about it. Then some are more appealing then others, which they decide to try out. They are in it together, even if maybe at times only one is in an activity. The people they interact with understanding, and helping them find their new boarders of excitement and what they both still like.

Thank you for the suggestion. I have been trying. My problem is I over edit. I write a bit and then when I go back I don't like the tone or something feels awkward and I delete and rewrite most of it. I will keep at it.

I like the idea. The plot could really dig into societal expectations around long-term relationships and sexuality. The couple might challenge their own preconceived notions about what a 'loving or committed relationship should look like, expanding their understanding of intimacy and pleasure beyond conventional boundaries.

Good point. I'll try my hand at that one.

It's a fine idea. I would try to avoid the husband wants to watch trope, just to separate your story from the thousands of others. Maybe they have a group session with another couple they have known for years and ease into it with some same bed partner swapping. It's the safest way to find out if it's something they can handle as a couple.

They have a great time and their friends invite them to the sex club, very exclusive. Or perhaps a lifestyle cruise or resort.

I still like the idea though. For me it would be interesting if it could go beyond a stroke story.
Painting a wider picture:
- Why are they the way they are at the starting moment. I.e. why haven't they experimented a bit more?
- Why do they go out on that day?
- The stumbling into the club and the observation of what is going on and the joint decision to stay.
- The dialogues afterwards. The different aspects each one of them notices.
- The experiments. Alone? Or involving others?
- Conflicts to overcome.
- I am not against watching - as long as both enjoy it and it does not become the main focus.
- Do they go back to the club?

And if it could maintain the attitude of warm respectful love.
