You're quite an interesting cocktail, DLL ..... a maelstrom of seemingly conflicting emotions and likes/dislikes ..... one thing you can't be accused of is being boring ;)

I saw Crash a few years ago... and I have to admit it did absolutely nothing for me.... James Spader or not!!!

What about Terms of Endearment? Have you seen that?
Hello again everyone!

The first time I saw Terms of Endearment, I was too young to appreciate it, the next time, was just after my mother had died..... so maybe I should see it again...... I enjoy re-reading or re-viewing things years later, to see how I've changed...... I remember my highschool literature teacher asking us to re-read A Tale of Two Cities, 10years later......I did actually, (had saved the book) and it was so much more wonderful.....in fact I took it off my shelve about a month ago....its in my pile again.... perhaps this weekend I will grap for that one!

Nice to see you all..... as ever!

well at 13 years old, I will agree with you.....but now that I am, ahem, no longer 13....... this third time should be all that more interesting!! I know the second time was as if I had never read the book in the first place!!

I liked that movie very much!!

in fact one thing I like very much was that, when the movie was over, I had this reaction of "what the hell was that about" and as the moments past, I was feeling the sweetness of the movie....the humor of life..... and frankly Bill Murray is a crack up to me.... in so many ways.....I enjoy him very much and was glad to see him in a movie such as Lost in Translation!!

What About Bob!!:D :D :D now there is a midnight need a laugh movie!!

I'm not higher, but I thought that was the worst movie I've ever had to sit thru. Bill Murray was ok and really built his part well, but the overall movie was too slow to develop and no one could resist the temptation like Bill did...

That was the whole plot sweetheart. In the end, he could have stayed but his family meant more than a casual affair.

but what do you suppose he whispered to her????

"Meet me at the base of Mulholland Drive two weeks from today and I will make love to you until you see stars."

IMHO

Possibly MWY...but that would have spoiled the plot

even though it would be a more real answer.

DLL...that's the mystique in the movie...each of us can put our own words there. If you believe in love forever...
