I am all in for the self wrapping Christmas paper. My daughter called from Rice lake, 2.5 hours away... I said drive slow, we're wrapping your families presents.... 2.5 hours later I made her drive around town and look at the lights. Wrapping presents takes time!!!

But gift bags just seem so impersonal. And really, anything can obviously be wrapped for that extra personal touch.

My mom is th gift wrapping queen! She makes things so pretty no one wants to open the gifts, except my dog. Cody NEVER opened gifts before this year (he is 12) My daughter taught him how to rip off all the paper. She swears he is my favorite child...

Pfffft I'm all about the gift bag. If it isn't box shaped it's not meant to be wrapped. It's just that damn simple. And they even make fun tissue paper to make it all nice and frilly and festive.
Don't be dissing the power and might of the gift bag.

I just get bored wrapping presents after about the fourth one. Then they start to get a little sloppier. I shouldn't wait until the last minute though either.
I'm so glad you got to spend the holidays with family after all.

Kitty Girl would have had that shredded in about 30 seconds flat. She would never have sat still for that.

Kitty Girl got attacked by a gift bag the other night. It was hilarious... well for me, not for her.
