pssst... the absence of pubes... and hairdo... small breasts accentuates the effect.

Technique

soooo...
you sketch by hand, scan, adjust curves (or drop channels)?, make a separate layers, then render with paint/draw tools using a tablet? Photoshop? Painter?

I like it!

I really have to get a new tablet... my old wacom does not work with new operating systems... (I think it is only comaptable with OS8  )

Yep. In this case, I scanned the drawing, rendered in Painter using a tablet, scanned in some watercolor paper I stained with ink, and set that paper as an overlay.

Tablets are great, but I'm more likely to stick with traditional stuff, as with the last one which was charcoal pencil. Usually, it's watercolor and oil for me. if I have time, i'll do a painting for you guys.

p.s. oh ok. so long as that's all. next time she gets a shrub. then again, razor burn aside, I haven't had more than a few straggely hairs hiding out of reach near my bum for many years now:) too much info :p

Cool!
I like to know how people work.

...and I like information!
(as well as a landing strip...but not a must)

Nice work

Hi, I usually don't post on threads but felt compelled to for this one because it's pretty easy to tell by looking at your drawings that you have real talent and can actually draw unlike many of the people who post images on this site. I'm not saying they are not interesting to look at or that in and of themselves those drawings are not good, but for those who have been trained in the visual arts, and know what to look for as far as proportion, anatomy etc, it's more than obvious that you are not tracing from photo's, you understand shading and you know how to handle colored pencils and graphite (unless you are using a Wacom tablet, it's almost impossible to distinguish anymore because of the technology) and that you have drawn from live models...unless of course you fake real well, which makes me sound like a pompous ass!! LOL But it does seem to me that you know what you are doing so keep posting, I enjoy your work.

excellent work!! I'm really impressed by your talent, I so wish I could draw!

do we need to get you some pencils and paper for christmas so you'll start drawing again?

You HAVE to start drawing again. Its a moral imperative.
