Last weekend, the California lotto jackpot reached $193 million. So all of us at work decided to chip in a buck and get some tickets. That totalled about 25 of us, more or less. But in addition to that pool, I had chipped in on another pool and bought a ticket for myself. Prior to beginning our assignments, we all sat on one of the buses and began discussing what we would do if we, as a group, won the big lotto.
I pretended to give a sentimental speech to the guys (my coworkers) and told them, "Guys, I just want ya'll to know that if we were to all become millionaires today. It will not change my attitude towards any of you and my job here." Of course, they liked the statement and a few of them complimented me for admitting it. Then I continued, "However, if my ticket end up being the winning ticket alone, I won't hestitate to blow this joint and look back on my way out to tell ya'll---So long, losers!!!"
LOL
Needless to say, neither my ticket or any of the pool tickets were the winners. The winning tickets were purchased by 3 people and so far only one came forward.
